I have a Google pixel 3xl and just got the Fitbit versa 2 yesterday as a gift. I have gotten everything to work but the voice reply. I tried turning off/on my Fitbit and phone but neither have worked. I don't know what else to do...

Hi there, @Rosesfornicole. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for following the tips and recommendations provided above.

Please note you can receive notifications even if you're in the next room (up to 30 feet away), but the Versa 2 and the phone need to be closer together for voice replies to work. With that noted, let's continue to troubleshoot your watch.

1. Factory Reset
- Open your Fitbit App and sync your Versa 2 to save your data.
- On the clock face, swipe to the left and tap on settings to open it.
- Swipe down to about and select about, then select factory reset.
- Your display will go blank and then the Fitbit logo will appear.

2. Set Up Device
Please set up your Versa 2 back to your Fitbit Account, as instructed below:

- Tap the Today tab and tap your profile picture.
- Tap Set Up a Device.
 - Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

Step 3. Set up Alexa with instruction in the help article below
How do I set up a voice assistant on my Fitbit smartwatch?

Step 4. Set up Quick replies with instruction in the Link below
How do I respond to messages with my Fitbit device?

Note: Take into consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account, your applications, alarms, etc.

@132456 A warm welcome to our Community! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your voice replies. Try refreshing the link between your Versa 2 and your phone by doing the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  • You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

Let me know how it goes.
