I cant find the account icon, and I dont understand why the weather app is all ready on the watch, if I didnt put it there.

do I have to delete the fitbit dash board and start all over?? I kept the same one from my HR, and Blaze, now I have Versa lite.  Not sure I like this one.

The account icon is now a circle at the upper left.  If you had a picture, it would appear in that circle.

I think the Weather app comes pre-installed.  I don't know if it can be removed.  In any case, if you don't like it, you can re-order the apps to put it at the end.

In above pic, the account icon is underneath the time, to the left of the work "fitbit', above the faint horizontal line and left arrow.

When your asking about the account icon, vvhat devices or you asking about @smash4803 is this with the Fitbit app on the phone?

Of so do you have the new or old user interface? Screenshot_20190711-092004_YouTube.jpg

I am so sorry I bought this!

I never had a problem with the other two until the battery quit.

I put this Versa Lite Edition on my windows 10, I all ready had it there. so I just updated the watch. Big mistake I think on my part.

I have absolutely no idea of the account icon. whether it is on the watch or computer. I cant seem to find anything remotely looking like the icon they tell me. I dont have a phone, I have wi-fi, which I am not sure if it is connected. but since its on my computer I assumed it was.

and dont know about the new or old user interface. sorry to be so "dumb" but I am 66 and getting frustrated.

Thank you, I dont have it on a phone, and that is my problem. I dont use a phone except for emergencies and it is just a track phone.

wish I could have gotten this in the first place lol. I am not going to buy a phone just to connect this, I use my computer so I will just manage with what I have.

thanks again this was very helpful.

Sorry.  When posters don't tell what kind of sync device they are using, I assume it is phone in order to avoid the extra steps of having to ask whether they are using phone, fitbit.com, or Windows 10 app.

So you are  not using phone.  Are you using Windows 10 app?

As @JohnnyRow points out, it is hard to answer someone when it isn't clear what device they are looking at.

If your on the web, look in the top right corner for a settings cog. On the win 10 app there will be some icon in the top left or right. Might look like a card file cabinet.

If help is still needed could you post a screen shot of the app..

What your looking for is availible through both the web browser and the win 10 app. We simply want to know which one your looking at, then we will be able to help.

Yes, but do you access your Fitbit account through the Win 10 app or the web page.

You used a web page to write the last post

The Windows 10 app is something you would have had to download from the Microsoft store.  If you did not do that, you must be using the fitbit.com.

Honestly, that was too many years ago. when I got my HR, I downloaded from fitbit .com

I bought a Blaze a few years ago, and just switched the Hr to the blaze. now I just switched the  blaze to the versa lite.

I did the fitbit app from Microsoft Windows 10  several years ago when I first got the HR, then I got a Blaze for Christmas because I was having a problem with the HR. everything they said would work did not,

a few weeks ago, my Blaze quit working, everything they said to try, did not work, so I bought a Versa Lite thinking that would do me. Boy was I wrong, but it helps a little, I can keep track of steps, miles, calories, time of movement, NO floors which isn't great.  and I have to go to the computer to sync everything so I can keep up with that. I accidently deleted my app from the front page and now I have to do everything manually, because I cant remember how to put the app back on the desk top.

I probably just need to delete everything and start all over again.  Really not happy about that, and no I did not get the answer I needed. I keep getting emails from fitbit, and tired of answering the questions,

I would either reinstall the Fitbit app or search Google on how to add the icon back. It looks like this process has not changed in the 12 years since I have up on windows. Screenshot_20190719-140324_Chrome.jpg

@smash4803, welcome! Thanks for being part of our Community! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your Fitbit account. As you have heard from @Rich_Laue and @JohnnyRow you will need the Fitbit app to access your account and setup your device. Some devices do need the use of a mobile device (phone, tablet, etc.) to be setup. You could use a friend or relative's phone to do this and then only use your computer to sync your device. For setup instructions please check this article. You can also check this link for the Fitbit app link (you should be directed to Microsoft's app store and also check the YouTube video @Rich_Laue kindly shared on his post). Finally check your Versa Lite's manual here.

Let me know how it goes.
