year average steps

I am getting my average steps for the last 28 days but I would like to compare year after year, month after month.  Is there a way to see my average steps for the calendar year?

It's not ideal but one way could be via the activity log on the web at https://www.fitbit.com/activities

 

If you click "Today" you can provide a start and end date and it will then show you the totals for that range. From that you could calculate the average.
