Hi, I would like to select more than one goal for my tracker to send notice. The miles are my main goal atm so Alta tells me when I reach them and the number achieved....it would be great if we could select another goal like steps or VAM or calories to receive addition notices when achieved. Thanks!
Allow for multiple step goals in multiples of 10,000. If you get 10,000 (or your personal step goal) your watch vibrates and celebrates! If you then go on to double triple or quadruple it should vibrate again. As you are having a mega day. Easy to add but very motivating feature.
To better explain my post for more vibrations for more goals, I was mostly thinking of it vibrating for all the goals i have set for Steps, Stairs, Water, Excercise, Miles, Calories and Minutes. I did notice that on my iphone mobile app there is this great 'confetti' party on each goal when I reach it, but when I reach my step goal and my stair goal, I want a vibration for each goal reached.
I would like to see Multiple Goals not only for additional activities like Miles, Calories, Steps, Floors but within each group to have a Primary Goal and to have a secondary Goal. For example, my wife has a Goal set for 6,000 steps each day, however, she tries to walk 10000 each day, so it would be nice to get the notification when you reach each of those goals. That way you feel successful when you meet your goal, but have the additional satisfaction of reaching the second goal. The graphics could easily be set to display both.
I know we get a little "party on our wrist" when we reach 10,000 steps in a day -- It'd be nice to get another "party on wrist" or something displaying if you reach 20,000 in a day.
Yes, I would also LOVE to see the ability to set multiple goals. On long distance hikes I sometimes take 20, 30, or 40 thousand steps and would love the additional positive feedback!
I came here to suggest this exact same feature. I wish I could set a "minimum steps" goal per day, and then a "stretch goal steps" per day - so I know I met my low end, but I can also celebrate if/when I reach the higher one, too!
It would be nice to have a couple of settings so you know when you hit different targets. Example when you hit 10,000 steps, 15,0000 steps and 20,000 steps etc
I have been asking for this for a year now. It's nice to see that there is a thread on this. Having Multiple Goals would be super nice to have. In stock mode once you hit 10,000 Steps your done on goals. Adding say a 15,000 and a 20,000 and a 25,000 goal or user programmable as it is now. 1,000, 2,000, 3,000 etc. Whatever people are comfortable with. But after hitting the goal you would know that you could have a positive reinforcement for putting in extra effort. People love hitting mile marks. And personally I think it would give people extra incentive to push themselves a bit more.
This has been a topic for a long time. I don't think Fitbit cares. If they can have multiple 'alarm clock' alarms they could have multiple goal alarms ... If they chose to do it.
I would like to see a reward for doubling your daily steps... if my daily goal is 10,000 at 20,000 I would like to see fireworks and a longer vibration or maybe a quick saying congrats or I made it with a longer vibration. I enjoy my fitbit rewarding me for achieving my goal.
I would also like to see this feature. What I would like is for it to buzz every 15 active minutes so I don't have to keep checking as I approach my goal or move past it.
Currently I have my tracker set to notify me when I hit my minimum goal of 10,000 steps, but I have a daily goal of 20,000 steps. It would be awesome if there could be multiple notifications for those of us who have more than one daily goal.
I see others have made the same suggestion, but I would love to see the fireworks that I get at 10,000 steps when I reach 20,000, 30,000, etc. It is silly how those little things are motivating... But they are!
I think there should be a "vacation" mode so people can choose an alternate goal that isn't as intense as their everyday one. It still gets people out and moving whilst they are on vacation or taking a break!
