Be allowed to have both a Fitbit Versa and a Fitbit Ionic on the same account so you can easily switch between them.

I have every single device released by Fitbit --- Had I known I could not have the Ionic and the Versa on the same account, I never would have purchased the Versa. I even tried to create a separate account on my Android for the Ionic but have been unsuccessful. This is very discouraging and makes me less likely to purchase any future Fitbit products. It appears that the consensus is to fix this to allow both the Ionic and the Versa on the same account....Perhaps Fitbit will take the hint and fix this

Well that is new...at least now they have stated they are working on it. Of
course, they haven’t contacted anyone that has already purchased both and
updated us, or apologized.

Nope; terrible customer service that has resulted in loyal customers either returning their Versa and/or leaving Fitbit for good.

I have an Ionic, Surge, HR and only recently sold a Blaze, all went in to one account.  I now have a Versa as I develop clock faces and apps for the Ionic, so not been able to add the Versa in to the same account as my Ionic is a major limitation.

It seems to take about 20 minutes to remove and add a Fitbit (Ionic and Versa) so that rules out just swapping them over.  I have more than one phone/tablet so think that only practical solution will be to start a new account for my Versa.

Come on Fitbit, let us having a Versa and Ionic in the same account.

What? This is not possible? Was planning on getting a Versa to accompany my Ionic. Won't do this now.

Hello

You can sync different watch types to one account which is great.

However would like to sync the same type of watch to one account.

I currently have to accounts as I have 2 charger 2 as I like the style of this watch. One for work and one with a different strap for going out at nite.

So need an option to add a second watch of the same type on one account and delete the other one.

Hope this can be done Gary

OK, I have tied for the past week to do the "switch thing" if you do not elect to connect the WiFi on the setup the process on average takes about 5 to 10 minutes, really is this QUICK? Sorry NO. Also:

every time I loose the setup I have for "Exercise Shortcuts", yes they revert to the default settings, usually I in a hurry so I find this out in the afternoon when I go for my walk, using my Ionic, bugger I then have to stop reconnect my phone app and change "Exercise Shortcuts" to add Walk, by the way the setup process for doing this also has problems, when I delete the shortcuts I do not want this work OK and then I add the shortcuts I need and  save, at this point I find all the shortcuts I deleted are back! and I have to delete them again! I have also lost my Credit Card setup on wo occasions. So to say swapping from the Ionic to the Versa and back again is QUICK is a joke it is NOT.

Please Fitbit fix this problem!

I would like to have my ionic and versa available on my account together. I had a blaze and ionic on same account and would like to do the same with ionic and versa. Please can fitbit look into making this happen as it is very frustrating and I would not have purchased versa for use in gym had I had known. Wanted ionic for outside runs GPS and versa for imdoor gym work.  Disappointed.

I love both my Versa and Ionic its very disappointing that I can not have them on my account at the same time. It may be easyish to switch but every time you switch you have to reset all the settings. Please fix this.

Bought a versa spec ed today to use as a more fashionable alternative to my ionic which I love. Shocked that I can’t have both on the same account. The versa goes back tomorrow until Fitbit fixes this. What a ridiculous oversight.

It’s terrible and Fitbit has ignored this problem and has lost sales and loyal clients because of it.

I love my new Versa because it’s adorable. Not having gps on it is a little silly for a workout watch, but perfect for work and going out.. I love my Ionic for my workouts, everything about it.. why oh WHY can’t I have both of them on my account at the same time?

On the mobile app since I own both the Ionic and the Versa I think you should be able to add both watches to your account. I use both and it is hard to track my activity, and since I can't add both watches to the account.

I wish that we could have multiple devices set up at the same time because I have a gray SE and really want a rose gold as well. It would be nice to be able to switch back and forth without having 2 different logins or be able to link them so the data can be seen for both

Hay, this problem is still NOT SOLVED! Far from it, I have for the last 2 weeks been changing from my Ionic to my Versa once a day it is NOT QUICK or EASY! It in a real pain! It takes at least 5 minuets skipping WiFi setup, then I have to reset all my Exercises Shortcuts that are set back to default during the changeover, PLEASE FITBIT FIX THIS:wrench::wrench:☺️😂😂

It’s been a month. They know it’s an issue and they just don’t care. Expect
nothing from them and you won’t be disappointed. I am not sure why you are
switching back and forth once a day but TOTALLY not worth my time.

Nope; complete silence and no solution.

Uninstalling & reinstalling back & forth and re-doing all the settings is not a solution!

Fitbit, I'm a little confused. Could a moderator at least provide an update as to whether a solution is being worked on or not? I've been holding on to my Versa in the hopes this would be fixed quickly.

I'd love to have support for multiple devices of the same product within the mobile app.

Since you promote changing bands on most all of your products, and even the cases on the Ionic and Blaze... it makes practical sense to support this in some way for the Versa.

For me, I have several traditional watches and will swap out the watch I wear daily based uponNow the outfit I'm wearing. I have found myself wanting to switch up between the Black finish and the Space Gray (SE) finishes and with different bands.

That said, if the Fitbit app would support a relative device name rather an absolute device name, I'd be able to interchange between two Versa's depending on which one I'm currently wearing.

Currently, I have to sync, replace the device and then, resync to swap between watches. This is terribly inconvenient and a complete waste of time for the user-- when it could be so easily fixed.

Moderators-- please get this idea in front of the development team and see if this patch can be made and when it could be expected.

Yes, yes, yes!!!  This is complete madness.  I have both Ionic & Versa & want to use them both whenever I want to.  I really regret spending so much on the Versa SE - just because it looks/feels nicer.

Really disappointed in Fitbit, really disappointed!

What about managing two Versa's from the same mobile app?

Well I have been using both my Ionic and Versa for around the past four weeks swapping from to the other as needed, often this has been once a day, I have taken some notes on the experiment and I have listed below in detail, comment please Fitbit! Change Over Versa/Ionic/Versa fun, difficulties and faults: Slow, it averages from 5 to 1 minutes to change over. Not setting up WiFi can speed up changeover. After Changeover all my selected “Exercise Shortcuts” are reset to default, this occurs on BOTH watches, I delete Run, Interval Workout and Bike then add Walk, after “add to watch” I find my selected shortcuts are added but Bike, Interval Workout are also back! I then re order the shortcuts and delete the ones that have been re added! I then resin re-sink. Yes, this all takes time. I then check my Apps: My Agenda – I find the Product Status reports that the App is now “Unlicensed product. Trial period in progress” and it is not connected to my Microsoft account! Well you recon this is not a PAIN it’s now a ½ hour and I am still fighting, I have Uninstalled the app, rebooted the watch (My Ionic on this occasion) re-installed the app and got the code to re-activate the App and I am now fighting to re-connect to my Microsoft account Lol. I just rebooted the watch again! OK it is now working? Ok I will have a look at another app. Weather – I check the settings, SUPPRISE my previous cities I like to look at have been deleted! I re-add them and re-sinc! OK next app. Bar Codes – Well again a surprise! ALL THREE of my Bar Codes have gone! I re enter (I keep them in a password vault so its “Quick and Easy to do”!! About 10 minutes. Now the next App. Photo Album Watch App – WHAT? A mistake all my favourite photos a still there! Summary - You will spend between 10 – 90 minutes to swap from Ionic to Versa of Versa to Ionic. IS THIS QUICK AND EASY – NO- TOTALLY UN-ACCEPTIABLE!

Hello everybody,

I bought an Ionic and the more elegant Versa to go out. Why only one tracker per profile? For the money then decide between one of the two?

Or would you rather have a noble aussehnde smartwatch from another manufacturer?

Should you get a grip quickly, dear Fitbit Team

Wish I knew this before I bought the Versa...I swap between the two while one is charging and having to delete one app and then re-load the second once, once a week. It chews up internet download and can take up to half an hour to do. We need both please.
