I have repeatedly emailed Fitbit customer service and have gotten no real response as to when this may change. I haven’t seen any response from the moderator either. Very disappointed that I can’t add my charge 3 as well as my versa. I currently own 3 trackers, Alta hr, versa and charge 3 and don’t want to have to remove the versa each time I want to use the charge 3 and vice versa!
Like most other users I am disappointed to find that I can not use my Ionic and brand new Inspire on the same account. I miss having a clip fitbit and was happy to find Inspire has a clip mode. As usual, I should know better than to think it would be that simple when it comes to Fitbit. It would be so nice to use my Ionic while exercising and use the inspire clip when I dont want that behemoth on my wrist. Will be returning the Inspire.
You would think there must be some serious software/ hardware limitation to these devices so that only one can be connected to the app. It would be helpful if the company would just come out and tell us that.
I own a Fitbit Ionic and recently purchased a Versa2. I discovered that I can't have both watches on the same account at the same time. Right now I can only have one Fitbit watch pair on my account at the same time, which means that every time that I want to connect my Versa 2 the system removes the Ionic from the account.
Hi @Chilimac. Thanks for sharing your suggestion about allowing to set up the Ionic and Versa 2 in the same account with us! I've moved it into a similar suggestion which has been updated as "Under Consideration". You can check this other suggestion here. Keep adding your suggestions!
Hi @LauraNJ. Thanks for sharing your idea about having the Ionic and Charge 3 linked in to the same account with us! I've moved it into a similar suggestion which has been updated as "Under Consideration". You can check this other suggestion here. Keep adding your suggestions!
Sent from Mail for Windows 10 I so agree. I bought the HR2..the waterproof one..then purchased versa 3..not compatible on same account..i call BS Thought the idea was to swap out different styles. Fix please Thanks kelly
I'm really disappointed in the Inspire - the notification buzz is hardly noticeable and not being able to set alarms from the device is tedious. Because I love FitBit I threw the packaging away on Christmas morning, otherwise this would be returned.
I thought at least I could use my versa for workouts or for swimming, but then I realized I can't have both on one account. That's so silly. Sometimes I want a nice small streamlined watch, and sometimes I want a device to support my healthy pursuits. Considering I've now paid for multiple devices they should be available to me to use, not just collect dust.
I have the charge 3 and just bought the versa 2 and was really upset when I learned that I can’t have both on one account. I’m a big fan of Fitbit and trying to stay loyal with the company but this situation is making it hard to stay. Please fix this issue. You would make a lot of users happy.
I have an Ionic for gym and Alta HR for ‘day’ and now want to replace by Alta HR with Inspire HR and so disappointed that appears FitBit not interested in enabling me to do so or have a suitable product I can do this with. Will resist changing my tracker for as long as possible (probably when Alta does actually fall apart) in hope the FitBit developers agree to add to their backlog of work.
I don't think Fitbit is listening to any of these comments. Maybe we should be writing to Google who acquired Fitbit? My versa is collecting dust because I can't add it to my account along with my charge 3 and alta hr .. I love my fitbit devices and I really would love to be able to switch between all three!! Anyway out there listening? By the way, the Charge 3 is listed as a "tracker" not a "smart watch" on Fitbit's website so the excuse of not being able to add 2 smart watches makes no sense!
This is an important feature that Fitbit needs to allow. I have Versa2 and Charge3. I would use them both in different situations if allowed to put them on one account. My alternative is to give Charge3 to someone who otherwise would by a device. Seems like a lost opportunity to Fitbit.
Agree @jogger and that is what I have been doing. @eeyore6802 also had a post pulled. Now I am contacting google and waiting for them. Hopefully the deal is fully done and we can get on.
You should be able to connect them up to the same account and have both the dashboard show up. Or if they're on separate accounts you should be able to be logged into them both at the same time. And don't take what you had on an earlier Fitbit and then all of a sudden decide to charge for it when it was included in the original Fitbit. Restlessness for sleep should be included in and not have to pay fifty bucks for it.
Hi @Midnight56, thanks for explaining why you would like to have this option. I've moved it into a similar suggestion which has been updated as "Under Consideration". You can learn more about here. Keep adding your suggestions!
I just got an Inspire and a little disappointed that I can't add them to the same account. I got it to track sleep since my other one is a little bulky and I move around alot when I sleep. Please make this possible.
I would likely own at least 4 fitbit devices if these all worked together in the app. I love my Charge3, but my Versa is useless. I wanted two colorful versa lites but there is no point without compatibility in the application. I like variety. You have taken away my opportunity to purchase more and more of your products by limiting a user to one smart device.
