Well, this time i'm gonna be rude... Fitbit "makers" are you stupid?!
while we can sync two different models, it is impossible to have several identical models in the same fitbit account. Do you know how much money you are losing by not making that possible!
there is a lot of posts asking for the same, so it means that a lot of people love your fitbit and want to have several of the same model so you can, for example, adapt the color to your mood or clothes, or simply have one always charged and ready for the day.... since it is impossible, we don't buy another one... your loss!!!! stupid, stupid stupid... yes i'm angry! Because you have a wonderfull product, but instead of improving it, you keep inventing new ones... with the almost same features (excpet for HR, only 2 models 😞 make more of it....)
So, pleaaaaaaase, be smart and make it possible... because i would love to have several CHARGE HR!!!!
I love my ChargeHR and don't want a different model. The problem is, fitbit advertises the charge HR as having a battery life of 5 days. I have never gotten more than 2 days even with turning off constant sync. So I would like the ability to have two ChargeHR devices so that one could be charging while I am wearing the other. And since they might be the same color, it would be good if we could name our device when setting it up. So I could have ChargeHR1 and ChargeHR2 or something like that, so that when I look at my devices in settings I know which one is which.
I have seen many others have the same problem as me. I have a black charge HR and a teal one and would love to be able to wear them interchangeably. Unfortunately I cannot because you can't have 2 of the same devices on 1 account. You can link one and then set the other as a replacement but with all the syncing/reconnecting it takes 5-10 minutes that I'd rather not spend setting them up. I hope that Fitbit will make having 2 of the same devices connected on 1 account at the same time a possibility because that would be great!
Please seriously consider allowing a user to add two of the same Fitbit model to one account. I am a potter and would like to switch to an older Charge when working with clay and save my newer one for day-to-day activities.
I would like to be able to link more than one of the same device to a single account. I could then switch, depending on whether my day's activities, between a new one at the office and an older one at home working on the yard. Also if I decided to have two different colors depending on the color of outfit that I may be wearing.
I've been following this thread since I posted my support for it on 12/09/15, and have been starting to wonder if Fitbit is even reading this.
I noticed that @Mcore reviewed this back in October, so I sent her a message, asking her to follow-up with the developers and report back with a status.
I'll do my best to follow up on this for you. At the moment there aren't any plans to implement this option, however, I'll keep you posted if I get any updates.
This is just a programming request. Not a whole new design. Currently you can have several fit bit devices on one account, just not the same type.... This really shouldn't be so hard.
I know. Please Fitbit company!! Fix this ASAP! I love my two Fitbit charges and want to get an Alta now. I would love for you to listen to your valued customers!!
I have 2 FitBit Charge HR in 2 different colours. It's impossible to connect both of them to the same account. It will be very-very nice to have an ability to do it.
If Fitbit cannot be "bothered" to include functionality that should have been included to begin with, I can't be bothered to support them anymore. Waited long enough - they have lost a customer...well two, myself and my wife.
