Allow us to move or delete Cardio Load prompt

There is a new Activity called Cardio Load on my home page and I cannot move or delete it. I don't care about it. I want to see my Steps on the top of the list and now I can't see them because of this new Activity and the size of my iPhone mini. This is ridiculous.

Hi @Tietyen, and thank you for sharing this product feedback about removing the Cardio Load prompts from the Fitbit app with us! We've merged this idea with a similar one to consolidate feedback. You can find it here. Please show your support by voting on the existing thread. To learn more about how Fitbit decides what product feedback is developed, visit our FAQs.

I couldn't agree more! I also came on here to find a way to turn it off!

I've tried everything. Having "Readiness" off should have done the trick but when that didn't work I turned off everything possibly affiliated with it. I also checked the app updates, and rebooted my phone after changes. All the data and how I feel tells me plenty about how ready I am to hit any target.

Come on Fitbit at least give us a choice. HOW DO WE GET RID OF THAT ANNOYING MESSAGE PERMANENTLY ???

I currently wear a SENSE and have an Android phone, not an iPhone, so it's a problem for everyone. I also track my sleep closely so taking my watch off at night is not a solution.

Cardio Load is neither intuitive nor very accurate. I just want to shut off the never-ending notification that I don't care about! Fitbit should make display items optional and not force them on users! Please update this functionality!

Please remove Cardio Load notifications. Thank you.

No. I don't subscribe to premium and I still get the message multiple times
every time I'm using the app!

Would be great if cancelling premium worked, but unfortunately they made the associated readiness score feature free with an update that also breaks it for anyone with a menstrual cycle shortly after I paid for an annual subscription for it, but that's a whole other issue.

Agree with this. It's annoying to have something appear every time you open the app that you can't delete. Particularly as the cardio load function doesn't recognise third party app workouts properly so it's nagging me to train harder unnecessarily.

In case useful for others, I asked Fitbit support about this today and they said they were aware and are working on a fix. It sounds like if you have cardio load toggled off, these prompts shouldn’t be appearing but there’s a bug.

They told me to expect a fix in the next update which is due 14 January.

So I’m hopeful that will fix it and we only have to deal with these annoying messages for another week..maybe

Thank you for the update!

Yes, thanks!  So hopefully we won't have to see that comment after the Jan 14 update.🤞

Thank you, @Abll12 for the update. However, the folks at FitBit didn’t feel bothered to post an update here to let their customers know. Crappy customer service.

Super agree, the prompt is dismissible but always comes back. I didn't ask for this content and it's not useful or helpful or welcome

I agree with everyone else. It’s EXTREMELY annoying and I have been searching for a way to shut it off since it was added.
I open the app multiple times a day and it pops up, uninvited, every single time!  I X out and sometimes it comes right back with a different message. Arghhhhh!!!
With no way to shut it off it’s giving bullying vibes.  I hope that this over-reaching issue will be resolved soon.

Please can I get rid of it? I never asked for it & I don't want it!

Adding my voice to the request to remove these intrusive and condescending cardio load messages or at least give users the option to switch off. The app already shows us how much we have exercised and when, isn’t that the whole point of it? I do not wish to be lectured to by AI who knows nothing of my personal circumstances.

Yes please let us remove this. I'm a swimmer so it's useless as it won't count swimming as cardio (??) even if I'm wearing my fitbit while swimming. I would rather see my steps again and ignore this useless cardio load. In the alternative, you should let manually logged entries count towards the load.

I hate the cardio load and I cannot X out of the shaming notification and it is not accurate in the way it calculates the cardio.  Please allow us to remove this ASAP.

Same as all of the above except that the dismiss button on "Ready to hit your target today?" has now stopped working entirely. So, not only do I get a reminder I don't want but I cannot make it go away. I had to customize my screen so I could still see steps and heart rate on one screen because heart rate was being crowded out by the notification. It's like FitBit is begging me to find a better product.

Yes. Please have the option to remove “ready to hit your target today?” Especially when I’ve removed cardio load from the dashboard. I’m hitting the “x” and it doesn’t respond.

Concur. The cardio load trigger is inaccurate written in a shaming and unhelpful way, it’s triggering for those with EDs and the fact you cannot disable it is frustrating.

Overall, the quality of Fitbit seems to be declining. It’s a shame.

One other thing about the Cardio load.  I worked out and had 27 zone minutes on my watch on my tablet it allowed 15 minutes. If this is the case then Fitbit/Google needs to eliminate vigorous and peak zone minutes. The way they figure zone minutes doesn't make sense just like the Cardio load tile

When I remove a tile from my Today page because I'm not interested in tracking it, of course that means I also don't want notifications from it! This is common sense your devs shouldn't have to be told. It is frustrating to have to dismiss this every time I open the app. Fix ASAP.

I can’t even get it to close now.  The X doesn’t close it and it is just awful! I agree with everyone on this chain! Get rid of it! I don’t need useless insights in taking up my entire screen and wasting my time.

I really want this cardio load pop up to go away. I have a workout schedule. I don't need this pop up telling me anything. My body tells me what I'm ready to do. This popup would be fine if I had the cardio load active on my screen. I turned that off because I don't want this feature. please make it go away unless someone has cardio load active on there screens.

I couldn't agree more. This cardio load ''advice" is most unwelcome. It's a useless metric anyway, since it doesn't include swimming or regularly spending 2 hours shovelling heavy wet snow for 5 months of the year. Fitbit has no clue what my cardio fitness level is.
