Allow us to move or delete Cardio Load prompt

There is a new Activity called Cardio Load on my home page and I cannot move or delete it. I don't care about it. I want to see my Steps on the top of the list and now I can't see them because of this new Activity and the size of my iPhone mini. This is ridiculous.

Yes. Please have the option to remove “ready to hit your target today?” Especially when I’ve removed cardio load from the dashboard. I’m hitting the “x” and it doesn’t respond.

Has Fitbit/Google  noticed how many users are going to stop using Fitbit/Google devices. Even one person said that they are considering not using their Fitbit/Google device for the first time in years. All because of a very idiotic idea called CARDIO LOAD

Concur. The cardio load trigger is inaccurate written in a shaming and unhelpful way, it’s triggering for those with EDs and the fact you cannot disable it is frustrating.

Overall, the quality of Fitbit seems to be declining. It’s a shame.

One other thing about the Cardio load.  I worked out and had 27 zone minutes on my watch on my tablet it allowed 15 minutes. If this is the case then Fitbit/Google needs to eliminate vigorous and peak zone minutes. The way they figure zone minutes doesn't make sense just like the Cardio load tile

When I remove a tile from my Today page because I'm not interested in tracking it, of course that means I also don't want notifications from it! This is common sense your devs shouldn't have to be told. It is frustrating to have to dismiss this every time I open the app. Fix ASAP.

I can’t even get it to close now.  The X doesn’t close it and it is just awful! I agree with everyone on this chain! Get rid of it! I don’t need useless insights in taking up my entire screen and wasting my time.

I’ve removed my Fitbit now. I have an ED and am working really hard not to obsess over stuff like “you’re at risk of undertraining”. In turn it seems to have made me a bit obsessed over this whole problem, hence I’ve now removed the problem!

It makes zero sense to not allow it to be removed. I too cannot even close it by clicking the X now. I should be able to remove it the same way I did the cardio load tile. The language is demeaning. I have been down for a couple of weeks with a terrible cold and should not be “told” by my Fitbit that I’m undertraining. I don’t have a Fitbit to feel ashamed of myself. How did this ever pass the common sense test?

I really want this cardio load pop up to go away. I have a workout schedule. I don't need this pop up telling me anything. My body tells me what I'm ready to do. This popup would be fine if I had the cardio load active on my screen. I turned that off because I don't want this feature. please make it go away unless someone has cardio load active on there screens.

I couldn't agree more. This cardio load ''advice" is most unwelcome. It's a useless metric anyway, since it doesn't include swimming or regularly spending 2 hours shovelling heavy wet snow for 5 months of the year. Fitbit has no clue what my cardio fitness level is.

I too am adding my vote to getting rid of the cardio load messages. I have switched off the tile so should not have to put up with the messages each day.

Please make an option to disable this message. It's so annoying. I don't care about it. All it does is blocking me from seeing the stats I want to see.

+1 to everything everyone else is saying. I’m going to try taking the Fitbit off to sleep - thanks for that tip!

The "Ready to hit your target today?" pop-up not only appears every time I open the app, but it is not impossible to X/ close it out!

I am so upset that FitBit does not make this optional!!

I am PREGNANT.  I do not want these annoying messages.

FitBit should have taken into consideration people who are pregnant, nursing, sick, post-surgery, etc and give everyone the option for this.

THANKYOU. Not only is the cardio load dumb, It doesn't work  properly. Much Of my cardio is on a stationary Bike machine, which Fitbit can't see. And  walking 8000 steps a day.  And I still get those awful messages. Terrible idea from the start.

I just called customer support to see if they had any idea if Fitbit is looking into being able to delete or disable the cardio load tile and they said they have no reports that Fitbit is doing anything about this. I was on the phone for over 30 minutes

Came to these forums just to ask how to turn off these Cardio Load reminders. I’m curious about the feature and have its icon on my home screen but have zero interest in these annoying reminders. I can track my progress just by looking at the icon. The reminders are just an annoyance that keep coming back every time I open the app.

Just liking and commenting in an attempt to also get this feedback to FitBit! Please allow us to opt out of the Cardio Load notifications. I have been an avid fitbit user for 10+ years now, and this is my least favorite feature fitbit has ever added. I agree that the verbiage is demoralizing. I don't know what "cardio load" is, but it must be different than the target zones, including the cardio zone, because it's requiring far too many to be realistic. Please, please allow users to remove this!

Agree with everyone else on this thread. There needs to be an option to turn off/opt out of cardio load messaging at the top of the app screen.

To be honest, there should be an option to turn off/opt out of EVERY feature within the app for true user customization. It’s a no brainer.

This message pops up daily and is very annoying and demotivating. Please give us the option to remove it.

Ugh, now I've started getting a message saying I'm at "risk of overtraining" which is equally obnoxious, considering I have been doing far less physical activity than usual. These messages are the worst! Let us opt out!

Another +1 here.

I deleted all of the cardio load data and removed the tile. Obviously I do not want to use this "feature." So why do I get an annoying message every day about meeting a cardio load goal?

Fastfred1959

I would encourage everyone that wants the cardio load tile removed or us being to disable it to include in their statement that they would like a response on this issue. How many  votes does it take for Fitbit/Google  to take notice???!!!

Agreed, these messages should not be mandatory. Sometimes the app won't even let me "x" or close out of the message to remove it from the screen. And the message consistently reappears the next time I interact with the app.

Ever since the Fitbit app's major redesign in 2023, I have encountered a minor frustration every single time I interact with the app. I am ready to seek a different service that does not create distractions and minor annoyances my day.
