Allow us to move or delete Cardio Load prompt

There is a new Activity called Cardio Load on my home page and I cannot move or delete it. I don't care about it. I want to see my Steps on the top of the list and now I can't see them because of this new Activity and the size of my iPhone mini. This is ridiculous.

Hey Fitbit, please update us on the status of this request. You have hundreds of unhappy comments so why not be respectful to the people who have spent a not insignificant amount of money on your product and tell them what's going on. If it's under consideration, someone sees merit in the request, what's so hard about actioning it?

Agree so much this week. Yesterday I did a pre crossfit session, a crossfit class, an additional afternoon crossfit session (training for a comp) and a 52min walk. My body is sore beyond belief and it is telling me that I am at risk of under training. It is incredibly frustrating and demotivating. I’m about to head into surgery in a weeks time and will have to take time off training altogether and these types of messages will only make my mental state worse

I also don't want to be told how much exercise to do each day and would like the choice to remove the cardio load target. I am quite pleased if I hity own targets each day and at 72 I am not trying to win a marathon.

Agreed! I've had nothing but issues with the cardio load. I set to maintain and I was over training without doing anything outside my normal. Switched to improve and at least then stopped getting yelled at for over training, but in the last couple of months, I'm suddenly not reaching the goals so I went back to maintain and it's still accusing me of under training. And now (for reasons outside of Fitbit's stupidity) I'm having my heart looked at for other possible issues and this message makes me avoid the app, which has me contemplating dropping my subscription and switching to something else.

Yes, please allow us to remove it. Cardio load makes very little sense tbh and I don’t care to have it on my screen, but the prompts persist. It doesn’t work and I don’t want to use it.

Does anyone actually find any value in Cardio Load? I work 70hours a week on my feet and it tells me I need to rest. I take one day off and it says I've been undertraining. Sometimes those are flip-flopped and I'll hit 15k steps in a day and it says "you're undertraining"

If it works for some people then great but why can't I just turn off the notification bubble in the app!!!

Every time I open the app, I see this cardio load banner, even though I dismiss it, it keeps showing up. The way the message is written and the content feels like it’s shaming me every time I open the app, at this point it’s making me consider getting rid of my Fitbit altogether because I find it incredibly demotivating.

Today at the gym i actually had TWO cardio liad banners pip up. And every time i x’d out it repipulated! My rhe has decreased 10 points in the last month, U’ve list 15% of my body weight in the last two months, workout everyday and yet Fitbit is STILL shaming me with rhis banner EVERY time i log in. Very dishwartening, especially when friends with other smart watches/fitness trackers don’t have this awful nin-option.

if i want, fine, that’s great. If not, allow us to pursue health healthily!

I agree with others on their comments.  I will be buy an apple watch when my current device dies unless this is changed.

Have "cardio load" as a metric if you must. Fine. However, I personally have no use for it, so in the name of plain decency, give Fitbit users the option to turn off all cardio load notifications. Don't need or want your suggestions or "encouragement."

Big agree! Not only is it something we didn't ask for, and this should be able to remove, but it's wild in its calculations!

Yesterday it was telling me to slow down. Today I am at risk of under training. Nonsense.

I removed the cardio load metrics from my app but I keep seeing the cardio load suggestions. I want them gone, how should I do this? Thx

This feature is the most worthless stat ever. I gain cardio load just by sitting, so I'm "at risk of overtraining" every day! If you don't want to remove it, fine, but make it an OPTIONAL stat to display, just like the rest of them! Don't shove it in our faces with no way to remove it.

I had an injury for two weeks so couldn't train as hard so it shamed me the whole time. Then, when I went back to training it spent three days telling me to have a low cardio load of 1-11 then then fourth day shouted at me for under training and said I needed a cardio load of of 45 or higher. This is insane and not at all scientific or helpful. Please just get it gone or let us switch off the nonsense prompts.

My other fitness tracker has an option called rest mode where it adjusts
tracking and advice. It's a shame Fitbit don't have this option. I have
suggest this via Fitbit feedback

>From the help for my other tracker:

"Scenarios Where You Might Use Rest Mode:
Recovering from an illness, such as the flu or common cold
Recuperating from a physical injury
Experiencing excess stress or anxiety
Experiencing joint/muscle pain or body cramps
Recovering from jet lag"

This has been under consideration for, coming up to, 1 YEAR. This is ridiculous, there are almost 1000 people saying it's something they don't want to see and are asking Google to at least make a feature for it to be turned off. I luckily do not have an eating disorder, but people who do or are going through recovery, will 100% be affected by this. It makes me feel guilty and it affects my mental health, so for God's sake, do something about this!!! This is a dereliction of duty as an organisation that is supposed to put customers' wellbeing at the forefront. It doesn't need to be considered anymore, make it an option to turn it off. Period.

Just adding my voice to this long stream of voices asking for the cardio load notifications to be able to be turned off. I have removed the cardio load feature from my home screen and do not want to see any notifications about it. Like others, it I feel stress when I see that I'm just "maintaining" and am being told to do more. It's not great for wellness to regularly be told I'm not doing enough to "improve" and should always be linearly aiming to level up my game (which is also not healthy). Cycles of rest and variety are needed.

Unfortunately this worthless feature comes mandatory to all - subscription
or not…

@LizzyFitbit can we get an update on this please? Surely would not take a year for someone to write an on/ off code?

I’m now two weeks post op, just resumed light walking again (no crossfit for me as yet), and I’m now “at risk of overtraining and should take some rest” lol

@Darch6827 I have been at risk of overdoing it and under training just today!

Ok I don't want to jinx it, but has anyone else's cardio load pop up... Gone in recent days?

It did with me, for a few days (a month or so ago), but to my horror it
came back....
