Have amazon music. Would be fabulous to sync a playlist to my versa and go for walks / runs phone free. I stream, so don’t “own” much music to transfer to the watch directly.
Today, I had a 'chat' session with Amazon Digital Content services regarding the lack of an Amazon Music app for Fitbit devices. I did provide the link to this thread so the developers can reference the level of interest. Don't know if it will help but thought it was worth a try!!!
@cemac1, thanks! Any additional help is always appreciated. I would think Amazon would want to jump on this as it would boost their business sales. Only time will tell.
I also wish I could use Amazon music. I won't pay for something I don't need and Amazon, I believe, is much larger than pandora. Please add Amazon music!
I recently bought a Fitbit Versa and one of the features I thought I would enjoy is the ability to listen to music through it/bluetooth headphones. However, what I did not realize was that it requires the PAID subscription to Pandora or Deezer (which I had never heard of). I am an Amazon Music user and have no intention of changing as I have been a paid subscriber to both Pandora and Apple Music in the past and found that I prefer Amazon Music over either of the others. I'm actually contemplating returning the Versa if I can find a smartwatch that does integrate with Amazon Music. Creating a playlist and downloading to the Versa is not a viable option in my opinion since I already have playlists/stations setup on Amazon Music. Apparently I am not the only one who wants this feature so hopefully there will be a resolution soon. If this is not an option then at the very least allow access to the free version of Pandora. Thank you.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE add Amazon music as a method to play music on the Versa. So many of us have this with our Prime subscription. You are severely limiting your audience for this product by not being able to play Amazon Music on this device. Thank you for listening!
I would love to be able to run without my phone, listening to music that I'm already subscribed to, Amazon Music. I don't want to pay for multiple music streaming services to be able to use all of my devices.
C’mon Fitbit. In many ways your customer service is great. But your response to a major customer need here seems to be lacking.
It seems like there are many of us who really need Amazon Music on our Fitbits. And probably a great many more who have the need, but don't read/post on the Fitbit Community.
What's the problem??? Can’t Bezos help you address it?
If only FITBIT would Listen. I Feel that once you buy the product, you and your wishes are FORGOTTEN. GET WITH THE CURRENT TIMES. We NEED more OPTIONS. ANAZON PRIME MUSIC has been around a long time. Hopefully they the FITBIT COMPANY will read our post and act on it.
I also have Amazon prime music unltd, and don't want to pay for another app. PLEASE make these compatible with the Versa ASAP so I can workout with just my versa and Bluetooth headphones instead of hauling my phone around at the gym. Thanks!
I've heard that Samsung Gearfit works across all devices brand s and models with Android 4.4 and up, and with at least 1.5mb ram... Sad that a phone manufacturer Brand can do this but Fit bit can't...perhaps time to fire some developers and find some new developers that know what they are doing.
Hi everyone, thanks for sharing this suggestion. We're always striving to enhance Fitbit products and services, and we appreciate all of the input we receive from our customers. We do not currently have plans to release this feature. You can learn more about how Fitbit decides what suggestions get releasedin our FAQs. For now, we will leave this suggestion open for votes (and closed to comments) so that we can continue to track community demand over time. Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback with us and we will let you know if anything changes.
Amazon Music has outgrown Spotify, Deezer, Pandora, and all the others. It should not only be available, but it should be the default app for all fitbit trackers (which are able to play music) regardless of model or location.
I know this has been requested before for the Iconic, but that thread was prematurely closed without a commitment to implement this (clearly) popular request.
I just bought a new Versa and came here to try to find out how to get Amazon Music (Prime) on my tracker. I was really disappointed to learn that it is not possible. I wish I had bought a different brand.
Hi @aquageek, thanks for taking the time to share your feedback with us. This feature suggestion already exists so I’ve moved your post here. At the moment it is not planned to implement it. Nonetheless you can still add your vote.
I like pandora but Amazon music works across more of my devices. Rather than pay for two subscriptions I would love it if Amazon music was built into the app store for fitbit
Hi @CTPope74, thanks for taking the time to share your feedback with us. This feature suggestion already exists so I’ve moved your post here. Don't forget to add your vote! I also noted that you mentioned a second idea. I ask you to post only one idea per feature. That way, we can keep the board organized and searchable. This makes it easier to know which idea other members are voting for. Here is the link for another existing feature suggestion regarding Alexa: Add Microphone and Use Alexa as Voice Assistant
With the new Fitbit versa coming, amazon Alexa likes to work with amazon music, so amazon music would be a great addition to the gallery so Alexa knows what it is looking for when you say something like “Alexa, play my most recent song”.
Hi @CopperYeti56404, thanks for taking the time to share why you would like to see this option on Fitbit devices. This feature suggestion already exists, so I’ve moved your post here. This is not currently planned at this moment. You can keep adding your votes to this suggestion so we can keep tracking this request overtime. Learn more about how Fitbit decides what suggestions get released in ourFAQs. I hope to see you around.
