Blood pressure Fitbit device with historical tracking

It would be great if Fitbit either created a blood pressure monitor and a glucose monitor that would sync with the dashboard or if they would team up with another company (Omron, diabetic community app) to have their product sync with the dashboard instead of having to manually enter it.

I'd like for you to reconsider the blood sugar tracking option. I understand that Fitbit is not a medical device but it is a device many of us use in our wellness plans. My doctor continually advises me to track my blood sugar daily but it's so inconvenient... I forget frequently. My fitbit app entices me to stay engaged, be competitive and borderline obsessive in checking my stats. Having the ability to log my blood sugar in addition to my food/ weight would be extremely valuable to me and many other loyal customers. For many of us our blood sugar is the single most important stat that we need to be mindful of daily.... If fitbit wants to continue to be essential to our daily routines this option would surely cement it's place in our day.

Hello Fitbit Team!

I've been using Fitbit for several years to help quantify my activity to aid the management of my type 1 diabetes. Diabetes has become more and more prevelant in our society-- a whopping 29 million Americans alone are diabetic. There are so many factors that affect blood sugar-- food, insulin, activity, stress, health, hormones, etc. So having any extra support to help spot blood sugar trends would be extremely beneficially to the rising number of diabetics.

Right now, I use the notes section to jot down my numbers at the specific meal times. However, a more specifically designed feature that would allow for charting blood sugar trends would aid diabetics signifigantly.

Thank you for the consideration,

Diabetic Community

Absolutely!! It would be so helpful to have a feature that would record trends for us. Making Fitbit a one-stop shop instead of just an add-on to my T1D routine.

Would love to see a tile to track blood sugars and be able to set targets

You have "GLUCOSE" listed on your extract but no way to enter it. It would be even better if you could exchange/import data from OMRON orACCU-CHEK apps.

I agree with the blood pressure monitor.  I have one at home that is now failing.  I fitbit had one that uploads data to the dashboard I would gladly purchase one from them.....

I keep a google sheet that tracks my info from fitbit, my blood pressure, and a weekly fasting blood sugar.  I would prefer to keep this all on my fitbit dashboard.

The best solution for me would be a Fitbit partnership with Omron that would put everything on my Dashboard automatically, but a place to add these readings manually would be the next best thing.  I would also love a spot to put my annual cholesterol results.  What am I saying?  That I want an actual Health Tracker, not just an activity tracker.

In the meantime, I use my own spreadsheet, and honestly, that leaves me free to choose another tracker if one appeals.  If you give me a way to replace my spreadsheet with the Dashboard, though, you have locked me in as a customer.  Think about it.

It would be so helpful to have a way to track my blood glucose levels each day.  Or else be able to sync Logbook or something similar to Fitbit.

We need FitBit to look at Medivo OnTrack and see why this type functionality can't be part of at LEAST the premium users dashboard as entered in FitBit mobile app.

I think only tracking is insufficient. You should add possiblity to read glucose paramter from bluetooth glucose meters and as fast as possible create your own.

I don't have diabetes, and my gestational diabetes test is next week. I would love to track my glucose levels on fitbit with everything else.  Otherwise I don't see much point in getting a glucometer and testing myself every day if I have nowhere to track it.

I'd rather not use additional apps and keeping track on paper only gets lost in my place of residence.

I have presented Fitbit with a suggestion for monitoring your blood sugar and hope they realize that with millions of diabetics worldwide, this is a useful device. I hope they jump on this idea before someone else does. It's now up to Fitbit and their CEO Park to yea this idea. What's the holdup?

I understand your reasoning but I only have designs for a single tasked product....it takes a blood sugar reading...only.

I know a lot of developers are working on a way to test blood sugar through the skin bloodless lyrics. I would really appreciate it my fitbit could do this.

One thing it would be great, for those of us who have to record daily blood sugar, is the ability to record blood sugar - much as you are currently able to record water, food, etc.  It is a very important part of our daily regime that is directly related to calorie intake, type of calorie, exercise, etc. and is a very important part of our personal profile.  It would also allow us to more easily, in one place, correlate blood sugar with food eaten, exercise, etc.

Check out the Medtronic Newsroom feed, as Medtronic announced yesterday that they have partnered with Fitbit to create an app that links a Fitbit device to a CGM, so that the data between the two can be stored in a single app.
