Customizable Challenges (like start date, duration etc)

I would like to be able to set which days I want for a challenge. Not all of my friends work a workweek (Mon-Fri). I would like to be able to make a challenge thats like Thurs-Sun or Mon-Wed-Fri. Or whatever days my friends work during that week. Choose teams and partners.

I have a suggestion for a new challenge. Name-power hour Game - starts like any other... At midnight... You can accept and at any point in your 24 hour day you can hit a start button and for 60 minutes exactly your steps are counted. It's a race to get the most active hour in amongst friends. After the time is up it stops the count and announces your total to rank among the other competitors. At midnight... Highest steps in the 1 hour block wins....

That's a good one!

I think it would be better to just make your own challenges on the fly. Have it be completely customizable via a gui interface through the website that can be uploaded to you phone.😃

I have a large number of friends and I get well over 5 challenge requests at one time. It would be nice if they would increase the number of challenges we can participate in or even not have a limit

Our whole small office is doing a FitBit Step challenge for 6 weeks and we realized that the challenge groups are limited to 10 people.  Now we have 18 poeple split into 2 challenge groups.  It would be so great to have all of us in one group!!! Please advise!

Thanks,

I want to be able to select dates so my friends and I can have our own challenges(ie Oct 1 2014- Oct 1 2015).

I would like to see other "challenge" options beyond just activity. I understand that water would be on the honor-system. When considering overall wellness sleep is important (I know this is obvious). I know this is important to Fitbit based on the sleep monitoring, but a "Sleep Challenge" would be a good way to challenge other Fitbit users toward total wellness.

Another neat twist to challenges would be to add a handicap for each user.  That way, if people are mismatched they can still compete witht one another!  So a handicap for steps (and ideally the other stats, such as floors, active minutes) would be great!

The Challenge idea is great, but I would love to see more options such as most calories burned, most workouts colmpleted, or even a custom option were one could use FitBit data to create a challenge.

I agree. We already track sleep, water, steps, calories in Fitbit - I would love to use all of these already tracked items in a challenge. I have tried using Challenge apps, but with so many other things and apps, it's a lot to do Fitbit and then another app. If it was built in like the steps - I'm sure non Fitbit users would buy because of the group factor of encouraging good behaviors and getting the boosts from the challenges to spur you on!

When paying for technology that's over $150 dollars to help you stay fit which includes competing against friends, it would be extremely nice if the software allowed more than five competitions and more than 10 people in a group. Being competitive helps maximize your steps!!! Please update!!!'

Would love to see challenges for active minutes! There are a lot of activities that don't count steps and it would be nice to compete while being active in other ways!

I'd like to see new challenges - how about number of floors climbed in a work week, in a weekend, in a day - not just total steps

Please allow more than 10 people to join a challenge and let us set our challenges to repeat from week to week specially the work week Hussle challenge.

Yes please! I invited 10 other people and got a wounded response from the last person to accept -- she was shut out because there were already 10 people in the challenge. (It did not help matters that this was my sister.)

Currently, there are 4 challenges - Goal Day, Weekend Warrior, Daily Showdown, Workweek Hustle.

All of these are step based.

Can we please get the option to challenge friends in miles walked (not steps), floors climbed, etc.?

It would be great if there were more challenges available. I am also using a Striiv pedometer for the motivation as there are constant challenges available during the day. Some of these are to get more steps than yesterday, get x amount of steps in say 5 minutes. There is also challenges where you can 'race' with the virtual penguin!

Garmin and Jawbone also have motivation to increase your steps based on previous steps.

This makes things a bit more fun 😊

I would love to see more options to search when logging my fitness.  Integration with programs such as Beachbody would be amazing.....I'm sure they'd be up for a little collaboration!!!

I love the workweek hustle, but I find that a Sunday-Thursday, or perhaps a Wednesday-Sunday sometimes work better.  Can we just have a "5 day challenge", with the initiator picking the start and end date?

I compete with my family in Europe and in the USA. I think the challenges should start at the same time no matter what time zone we are in. At the moment it ends up being unfair play as our challenges start at different times of the day. Is this something you plan on changing anytime soon?

It is nice to have multiple challenges but when there is a delay in syncing, you can't join subsequent challenges in a timely manner. With over 100 active friends, it is tough to choose. Also, when setting up multiple challenges, if there is an overlap in invitees, sometimes the participants are redundant because they accept all.

I agree! I would love to have more than 5 challenges at once. Also frustrating when challenges are trying to be wrapped up (example: if you have 5 workweek challenges in progress and you're trying to set up/accept a weekend challenge on a Friday but can't because you're already in five workweek challenges).

Would love to have more than 5 challenges at once! My friends and I love Fitbit, and having different friend groups I would love to have more than 5 going at one time. (Especially difficult when you have to wrap up one challenge before starting another if you are already in five).
