Customizable Challenges (like start date, duration etc)

I would like to be able to set which days I want for a challenge. Not all of my friends work a workweek (Mon-Fri). I would like to be able to make a challenge thats like Thurs-Sun or Mon-Wed-Fri. Or whatever days my friends work during that week. Choose teams and partners.

Can't believe we can't make our own challenges. I thought that was a part of the deal. Very disappointing!

All we want is to define the morning start time and evening cut off time for work week hustle so that we have a level playing field and those jazz hat go to bed at 10pm are not stressed out about the guys who stay up on purpose to log in steps when they know others are sleeping. Why can't we make that simple change ourselves. Morning starts at 6am, evening ends at 10.30pm for all. Other steps don't count for the challenge.

Challenges I want to see:

- choose my state, Metropolitan area, county, AND city;

- sport specific: volleyball (sand, grass, indoor, women's, mens, co-ed, 2's, 4's, 6's);

- rollerblading;

- kickboxing;

- ability to create my own challenges and parameters...

- my own time frames

The above are just examples

No idea why Fitbit has me listed as a jogger... I should be able to choose my label...

I love my Fitbit and the community challenges.

Having previously had a Garmin though I liked the way there was challenges for running,  swimming and other activities as well as steps challenges.

I think you's should consider adding running, distance, calories or stairs climbed etc to keep the challenges interesting..

Need more challenge options.  I would like to see a custom challenge option where you can set your own variables and goals. Specifically I would like to do a monthly challenge with my friends. It would be nice if we could see monthly totals on the Apple app as well.

Fitbit is really dropping the ball on challenge selection! Add more challenges like most active hours, most hours of sleep, most floors climbed, etc.

I'd love to see more race adventures from all over the world featuring more half and full marathons . Selecting a country and being able to choose a particular marathon to participate , ie Gold Coast , Melbourne , Adelaide

, city to surf etc . Then other countries as well !

I would love it if you could GPS track a walk and add landmarks just like the NYC challenges, possibly with the ability to share them.

I don't think this would be very hard to do it all with the proper files. I would love this idea. We need some Canadian content and if they use for doing the work why not

Yes I would love to be able to create challenges. For example Uk diabetes association is having a million step challenge from July to September. I could set up a challenge for friends to join and then we could raise money for this charity. Come on Fitbit it can't be that hard?

It is a common complaint on Facebook and other places where some users will not sync their fitbit until right before a challenge is to end. I'd like to suggest that a feature be implemented to allow the initiator of a challenge to specify whether to implement time restrictions on challenges. If implemented, the person starting the challenge could specify number of hours after a person's steps to sync their steps. If not, the steps would not register on the challenge but would on their dashboard. For example, if John Smith walked 5000 steps and stopped at 10am and a time limit of 4 hours was implemented, John would have until 2pm to sync his steps. If not, they would be be counted in the challenge, but still register on their dashboard.

Personally, I try to sync my Fitbit regularly and seldom do I go over an hour without syncing unless my phone dies on me while walking.

I am suggesting this feature to allow more users to win challenges. It is disheartening to many to be in the lead by 20,000 steps in a challenge, then someone way down syncs their Fitbit 5 minutes before it ends and it puts that person as the winner. For most people, this practice just isn't playing fair. It hasn't actually happened to me, but I hear this complaint all the time on Facebook and Twitter.

They need to add more challenges like a stairs challenge or longer step challenges with more people allowed.

Does anyone from Fitbit actually read these posts? Seeing requests going back 3 years to up the limit of people in a challenge. As a DevOps Engineer with more than 20 years in the tech field, I can tell you this is an easy thing to do. Do they even care about their customers?

Lol... I know people that do this, and it drives me nuts.

I have been a Fitbit user for years. I admit that I feel that the biggest thing that Fitbit is missing is this. The ability to create our own challenges, and name the group.

Hopefully with enough people wanting changes to the challenge, Fitbit will
implement my request 🙂

As an creator and admin of a challenge group who hosts challenges every week, I would love to see an expansion on challenge options.

First, I would love to see the ability to add more than 10 players to a challenge return.  We really enjoyed not being limited to just 10 members in a team and happily utilized this short lived feature. While our challenges are usually separated by daily step goals, it was nice to be able to combine our highest and lowest step groupings together for an even more fun time among friends who are usually forced to be divided into 2 or more groups.  There  were so many advantages to being able to go beyond the 10 players and we really enjoyed the freedom of experimenting among our many teams during this short time it was available. Do please bring this feature back.

We are also extremely interested in having 30 day challenges as an option and the ability of being able to choose other metrics, such as calories burned.  It would make our future monthly weight loss challenges so much more engaging and targeted towards individual weight loss goals.  So many potential options here.

And the ability to label or name our challenges would also be a wonderful feature and enhancement.  It is often difficult to scroll through to find a particular challenge that you are looking for and the ability to create labels to identify challenges would be wonderful.

Thank you so much for your time and consideration.  And keep up the great work.

Is it possible to create a feature so that users can create their own challenges, ie, increase number people taking part, set minimum number of steps or calories etc

Please increase the 10 person limit per challenge Fitbit. I'm having to co-ordinate 2 challenges per week and weekend for work colleagues and we just want to all be in one group challenge!!!!!!!

On Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th July 2017, Plymouth are hosting a 24 hour Relay for Life event in aid of Cancer Research.  Please could we set up a Fitbit Relay challange to see who does the most steps?  I could send more details of timings etc to you?  Over 400 people will be there, not sure how many have a Fitbit:)

I'll be particjpating in Relay For Life on July 29.  There will naturally be a lot of participants with Fitbits.  We would like to have a Fitbit challenge as an activity.  It would be great to be able to set up an event challenge with over 10 players.  I'm thinking several Weekend Warrior challenges should work.  Does anyone have any better ideas?

It would be awesome if we could create our own challenges with custom dates and times. For example, we went to a music festival from Wednesday - Sunday. It would be cool to make a festival challenge and find other people that are at the same location to compete against. This would also be useful for vacations (ie; Amusement park Challenge, camping week challenge, etc.), people who have odd work weeks (Tuesday - Sunday), People who have odd hours (over night shift).
