Customizable Challenges (like start date, duration etc)

I would like to be able to set which days I want for a challenge. Not all of my friends work a workweek (Mon-Fri). I would like to be able to make a challenge thats like Thurs-Sun or Mon-Wed-Fri. Or whatever days my friends work during that week. Choose teams and partners.

I agree, I would love to be able to join more than 5 challenges since I do have a lot of friends.  All my challeges are different skill levels and friendly banter.  I also agree that you are stuck within a challenge if someone has not synced yet.  The only way you can move is if you quit and you are completely removed from the challenge.

Thanks for reviewing our Comments.

More flexibility in challenges. How about Goal day challenge base on last 7 day average? Goal day is a nice way to bring different step levels together but doesn't work well when someone's step goal is artificially low. It winds up messing it up for people that have realistic goals.

I agree.  Need more than 5 challenges and more than 10 people allowed in a challenge.  Also, you should be allowed to join other challenges as long as the dates don't cross.  I have missed participating in several waiting for someone to sync.

I also saw where someone said be allowed to name them.  Oh, Yes, Please.

I would like for the beginning time and ending time to show on the main screen.

Challenges only based on steps are not enough.

We should be able to have challenges based on active minutes instead of or in addition to step counts. Weight the step counts by active vs casual efforts.

I would like to know how to delete the "expired challenges" so I can have at least 5 active challenges. Thanks!

Hi M4ND1 - once the challenge finishes there is a (I think) 12 hour period where everyone can sync their trackers and then once that period is over that challenge is no longer active and you can take a new one.

I also suggested that the goal be increased/decreased based on the last 7 days average. It is slightly discouraging when someones goals are unrealistic.

Feature Request #1: Challenges based on other criteria (other than steps), such as distance. I excercise a lot with my wife, and she is 7" shorter than me, and therefor has a significantly smaller stride. She averages about 1.5 to 2 steps to my 1 when we are walking/hiking together. So even if we cover the same distance, she will destroy me in steps on the challenges.

Feature Request #2: Custom challenges. You pick the criteria and length for the challenge, and then invite people.

I second the idea. Making custom challenges to go head to head on floors and other criteria would be a winner. Also easy to do I am sure.

Definitely need more than 10 people. My fellow work colleagues with fitbit number more than 10 and would all like to be part of a challenge. Atleast 20 should be allowed to join a challenge.

This would be a great commercial team-based opportunity.

Allow us to compete in more challenges!

Yes, I really want to compete with active minutes & things other than steps.

Should be more than 5 challenges allowed at once and or more than 10 people per challenge. Also, when it ends, at midnight, it shouldnt be considered 1 of your 5 challenges. Also, we should have floors challenges as well.

Ditto on the request for customizing chllenges. We work a four day week. I would love to create a 4 day workday challenge and a 3 day weekend warrior.

We just started with an increasing Dutch group of fitbiiters. The max capacity of competitors in a challenge is just 10 persons. Is there any possibility to increase that number so more people can join the challenge. More people, more fun, more challenge.

Cheers in advance

I really like the 2nd suggestion in this post. I would like to be able to extend the daily challenge that is based on percent of each person's goal. This way I, with my 10,000 step goal can compete with my friends no matter if they have a 13,000 or 7,000 daily goal - especially since Sunday is often a difficult day to meet my daily goal but I am able to make it up during the rest of the week.

I would like an option so that others cannot invite people to the challenges I set up.  Since we are only allowed 10 people in a challenge, I already have to decide who I want to invite and I have a lot of friends on here.... but then I narrow it down and invite people - only to have someone that i invited invite a bunch of their friends!  Then the few I invited can't join.  Very annoying!!!

I vote for this too!  My office is closed on Fridays. I would like to create a 4 day work week challenge and a three day weekend warrior.

I would like to see more challenges involving other activities where we can personalize the activity. I don't Think the steps should be the only thing that fit bit focuses on. Challenges can be based on calories or other activities as well.

You really need to allow more than 10 people to join a challenge!  Please please please implement this.

It would be nice to be able to choose the days you can compete on as well. Not all of us work a Monday to Friday work week, or have Saturday and Sunday as our weekend.

I Agree with everyone that we need more than 5 challenges and to increase the number of participants as well. Fitbit has become so popular and I have encouraged friends and family to get on board. We have 4 fitbit users in our family so far. Please lift the limitations before people start to get frustrated and disinterested in challenges. Challenges contribute to the growth of Fitbit.
