Customizable Challenges (like start date, duration etc)

I would like to be able to set which days I want for a challenge. Not all of my friends work a workweek (Mon-Fri). I would like to be able to make a challenge thats like Thurs-Sun or Mon-Wed-Fri. Or whatever days my friends work during that week. Choose teams and partners.

FITBIT, GET WITH IT.  IT IS IMPERATTIVE THAT YALL IMPLEMENT THIS IMMEDIATELY.

I have a friend who didn't "invite" someone because of the "10 person" rule.  This is ludacris.

Distance challenges would be great! Same for floors! Or even active minutes! The technology is already there... I recently was looking at other fitness tracking devices or switching over the Apple Watch. I commented to some friends that the thing that really makes Fitbit stand apart (and makes it difficult to switch to a different brand of tracker) is the social integration! I wouldn't want to get a different device because I so enjoy the challenges with my social group every week. Eventually, a workweek step challenge gets boring though!

I 100% agree bc my step count is low because I TRY and focus on heart rate. I'd love to connect with other ppl through that goal

Yes, I have seen that suggestion before, and I agree, it's a great idea

I think the HR has new plusses that should modify the challenges. I'm surprised the app hasn't followed suit with the tech.

I think that any measurable item would do for a goal. It would be cool if during challenges we could divide into two or more teams. Working together and pushing our teammates to get up and move.

Would love to be able to create custom challenges around data points Fitbit tracks (i.e. miles, active minutes, etc.). It would also be great to customize the length of the challenges.

Things get a bit boring when you only have 4 kinds of challenges to choose from.

I think that teams would be really fun and motivational!

I would love to be able to be in more than 5 challenges per week.  I have 5 different groups of friends who all do workweek hustle, but i also would like to do Goal Day Challenges with a select few.

I'd love to even have a floors challenge! How many floors In a day!? So simple and something new! Also at least 20 in a challenge would be great! And being able to see all badges and medals we can win from our apps would be motivating! Maybe having a level beside our user name kinda like call of duty?.. It's motivating to build towards something we can see and show.

hi,
I recently bought a fitbit and am in love with it. My whole family has it as well as my girlfriend and her family. I really like the challenges feature; we are very competitive with each other. One suggestion I had was maybe instead of just a winner reward have a top 3 reward? Gold/silver/bronze medals or something? So that some people get something for walking all those instead of just a single person. Maybe gives a feeling of achievement to those who couldnt get that extra 1k to be in 1st place.

Thanks!

I think we should be able to join more then 5 challenges. I would like to see that it should be the users choice how many they want to join. I live doing challenges and have tons of friends and don't like to decline or quit another challenge! Or at least give us a que so once one ends the other can start without us losing our place. I also think the limit should be more then 10 and also users preference.

This idea was introduced 2 years ago, where it was said it would be passed along to higher ups. Apparently that still hasn't happened. Let's start again fresh, shall we?

Limiting challenges to only 10 participants leaves larger groups at a loss. People are left out. It's not fair, really. So let's increase the number of participants allowed in each challenge. If possible, make it unlimited, as there are groups out there that consist of over a thousand members.

We have great fit bit challenges going on yet I have far more than 10 friends who want to participate. Please allow an list friends there's no reason to Cap it at 10. Also it would be nice to be able to create our own challenges. We always have to do one on the weekend and one during the week how about letting us run a challenge Sunday through Sunday. I've only had my Fitbit two months and I'm really surprised at all the restrictions. Please help!!

Specifically being able to name each challenge would be great, because if you're in many challenges with people, it becomes difficult to tell them apart!!!

m totally agree with the fact of putting calories burn challenge or number of stair or even time put in training, step are cool but it doesn't represent the real effort in exercise for who want to train at gym or sport. Im really questioning my self right now why it still not add in the app at this time... Kinda hard to recommend fitbit right now for friend who love weight lifting and sport 😕

Yes, problem is, some people their frackers only do steps, then change to calories and distance. But distance and calories can be easily manipulated. Also, the new Fitbit Alta coming out, doesn't track stairs... So, but, I really would like maybe a point system, so the challenge maker decides what the point values will be for the 5 things, 1-5 point values for each, (I'm really liking this idea... Just thought of it) 5 ways to earn points are: stairs, distance, steps, active minutes, minutes exercising. Additional points will be awarded for the HR zone. Please Fitbit we are asking for the ability to customize, I just thought of a great compromise, PLEASE!!!

Also, we need to be able to start a challenge for more than just 1 day in the future, like I'll start one for tomorrow, and that gives people about 1/2 the day, if you check it in the morning, you just missed out, say you didn't see it, then you see it at night when it's 3/4 over, that's no fun, so today is Tuesday, I'm gonna, if no one else does, start a challenge with some people I know, but they only have Thursday to see it. I would like to give them a heads up, so if you do something like, a heads up start, meaning you invite people over 1 day before challenge, then they get to either accept; and when it's 1 day, they will join and until 1 day away (Thursday at 12:00AM) the challenge isn't counted as 1 of the 5. Allowing better planning, and more involvement

I think a great addition would be to add the option to challenge people from the web site. Its difficult for me sometimes as mobile signal is weak where i work so having this option on the web site would be fantastic.Smiley Very Happy

It's been over a year and isn't under consideration. We are not being listened to on this regardless of what the moderator wrote.
