Customizable Challenges (like start date, duration etc)

I would like to be able to set which days I want for a challenge. Not all of my friends work a workweek (Mon-Fri). I would like to be able to make a challenge thats like Thurs-Sun or Mon-Wed-Fri. Or whatever days my friends work during that week. Choose teams and partners.

I agree!  There are so many more people using the Fit Bit especially now that it's being sold at Weight Watcher meetings.

I can can't keep up with the number of challenge requests that I get. I have to refuse more then 10 during the course of the week.  Also, daily challenges should equal weekly challenges.  I'm always losing out one daily challenge with the three weekly challenges that I'm in.  Would love for more challenges or more people in a challenge and for the amount of daily goal challenges to equal that of the weekly goal challenge.  Just doesn't make sense any other way.

Happy stepping all!

I would like to be able to customize the day or time period for a challenge.  Also, to be able to see or start them from my computer and not just the phone.

lets allow more than 10 players in one challenge.

Does anyone know if Fitbit plans to expand the challenges to allow more than 10 people?? My whole family is jumping on the Fitbit wagon which is AMAZING! But now there is 11 of us just with in the family, and we all have friends that we want to compete with. It would be so amazing to be able to have everyone on 1 challenge to really push each other and keep each other moving! Please please please fix this on the app. You'd have a giant ground of happy people here in Colorado.

I, too, would love to see the Challenges allow more than 10 people.  Many of my officemates have now purchased FitBit.  We have 30 people who want to be a part of it and we can't all be in the same group.  Why is there a limit to the number of people allowed in a challenge?

No idea why there is a limit?! Shouldn't it just allow as many as possible that want to be apart of the challenge, to allow for more happy social competition? I hope they change it soon!

Hi, We are a group of almost 30 people and want all of us to participate in a single challenge. Please expand the number of players for challenges. Thanks!

I want to suggest to create 2 new challenges. One for climbing flights of stairs the other for logging water intake.

I agree, as more and more people in my company get fitbits, it would be great to have more than 10 people per challenge

That sounds like a great idea 🙂 Have you tried Matchup.io ? lots of
challenges there and far less limits.

Sorry if this is mentioned somewhere else, but a girl can only search so much...I work for a Federal Agency and not only do we have our coworkers involved in FitBit challenges, now our State partners are joining on (which would make it ideal for more than 10 participants, but that request has already been submitted). I would really like to see us able to customize challenges to a start and end date (we would like it for longer term, think months, others may want shorter). Then, if the challenge is longer term, maybe we could have small weekly intermittent push trophies with the big trophy at the end to help keep everyone motivated for the duration. Right now we are doing workweek challenges and have to make hashtags on an Excel spreadsheet next to each winner's week to total at the end. That's a lot of math for a government worker 😉 Thanks for considering!

I would like to be able to include items such as milk, juice, lemonade, etc. as liguid intake.  There is a nice place to log in how much water is consumed.  Could this be changed to how much liquid is consumed as drinks?  This would be a more accurate way to monitor total liquid consumed.

Hello, I would like to see more options added to the types of exercise that can be logged. Today as a new Fitbit user I was trying to log my own at home exercise regimen and there are no options such as stretching and maybe something like at home workout that adds all under one topic so i didnt have to split them under categories that they did not belong too. Thanks

Hello,

Currently a user can only be in 5 challenges daily. Any chance to increase that? A number of friends and family members have recently got Fitbits and I really think these challenges are why. We enjoy the competition. Between family, friends and co-workers, I cannot get involved in all the challenges. So some of the fun and challenge is fading. I feel like I have to choose carefully and ignore some invites. So, as the Fitbit communities continue to grow, can the number of challenge opportunities grow also. Thanks.

Is there any way to increase the number of people per challenge? I have over 30 people at my job with a fitbit. We would really like to be on 1 work week challenge, instead of being on 4. Can you please increase the number of people per challenge?

I agree, especially since there is an overlap into the weekend challenge while I wait for updates I can't start new challenges. I have several groups of friends that I like to compete with and we like to continue workweek into weekend and back into workweek.. I am unable to do that while waiting for 3 challenges to end so I can begin 3 more.

+1 I totally agree. It'd be great to have more than 10 users in a challenge. With this limit, I often have to create 2 challenges between 1 group of friends where many people overlap. Then, I quickly run into the problem of only being allowed to join 5 challenges.

Thanks!

I'd like to see more challenges as well.

Another idea is to be able to add friends to a challenge with email address, as I have over 300 Fitbit friends currently

We have over 40 of us in our workplace with a Fitbit, I have to set up 4 challenges each week then the one with my family and friends which takes me to my 5 limit. It would be great if you didn't cap it at only 10 per challenge, so we can all be in the same one instead of selecting different people for each one

And then you only have 1 more challenge slot left, we need this pushed now Can you get all 40 people to log in here and vote & comment By the way guys I run a UK Fitbit challenge group on Facebook if your interested www.facebook.com/groups/getfitbit Over 1000 members I'm going to get them all to complain

yes increasing the number in a challenge as well as the number of challenges you can be in at one time would be nice....

I've had my Fitbit Charge HR for a little more than a week and I am already pretty bored with the challenges! They were motivating at first but when you get guys who join a challenge and are on a completely different level of steps it makes you lose interest because you just can’t compete. 😞

I would love to see more challenges!

Maybe some involving Floors? Active Minutes? Goals for other areas?

Maybe allow the challenge length to be customized?

Show Challenge Score on Profile?

Show Others Timezones?

Group challenges should also be recommended by a Fitbit system based on the users average steps.

A group of random users with the same step ranges should be selected to participate in the challenges so you can stay motivated with people on your level, while also making new friends in the same range to later challenge! (You would have to agree to the invitation of course)

It would allow for people within the same range to better compete; allowing those in a higher step range to find others on their level, and same for those who do a little less. I have joined a couple competitions where it was just no contest, getting blown away right off the bat or users who just don’t do quite as much and can’t keep up!

I look forward to seeing what more Fitbit has to offer!

Why stop with a weekend warrior or a workweek hustle challenge?  Why not a 30 day challenge?  It would be more ideal for those who are serious challengers as well as those who need a little more motivation to keep their weight loss goals on track!

Please! To allow at least 15-20 people in a challenge would be awesome. It would be nice to be able to participate in at least 10 challenges, due to overlapping and waiting for users to sync.
