Fitbit studio for Charge 5 to create clock faces and apps

While the Charge 5 has 23 different clock faces, it doesn't exactly fit what I would like to see, and others from looking at comments.
If a dev could design and publish a clock face for the Charge 5, I think the majority of complaints related to the clock display would be addressed.
Please! Add support for Charge 5 to the Fitbit Studio!

I just bought a Charge 5 and shocked by the clock face selection and the fact that there's no way to create my own. I'm a software developer and I'd be happy if I could build my own.

Now I'm considering to send this Charge 5 back.

I have come to completely resent this device with its heinous watch faces - which, by the way, are a mission to ever try and change because since getting the device, it’s has issues synching and connecting. ONE animation for hitting step count (even the older devices had at least some variety like a disco ball and a bird etc). It truly is the most disappointing move I could have made, especially in the face of so many other options. Needless to say I’ve been a Fitbit fan since 2015 but those days are done.

I'm a new charge 5 owner and I'm shocked at how bad all the clock faces are.

Where is the actually useful face? The slashed one is okay but why on earth is it wonky!

Try the "Target" clock face, I like it better than the "slashed one"... But it takes some care in "tapping" to keep it set on my preferred ❤️.

charge 5 clock faces really are bad. I've even loaded the developer studio to see about making my own but they don't allow app to be developed for the Charge series ... I have a charge 3 and just bought a charge 5 for someone else. I was going to get a charge 5 myself but this is the single reason I will not and I've recommeneded the person I bought the charge 5 for return it.

This is such a simple element but Fitbit don't seem to care about this. If anyone from fitbit reads tis please believe and pay attention that people aren't going to like your device if you limit it to garbage clock faces with no solution.

I know it's not perfect, but the Charge 5 clock named "Target" is a reasonable clock. It has HH:mm and the date and allows you to select one item to monitor (in my case, I use the heart rate). In lieu of better clocks or personal development studio (which would be ideal), it works, at least for me.

Excitedly received my Charge 5 however the lack of stylish analog watch faces means it’s going back, I am very disappointed, surely it wouldn’t have been hard to ask for input from a study group of mixed ages and views!

It's been over half a year and and four more threads requesting new or less crowded clock faces have sprung up and gained hundreds of votes. These appear to be the most requested changes for the charge 5 as well.

The tracker offers more than enough screen real estate to display everything at a glance, and previous trackers in the charge series already offered all the features users of the charge 5 are missing. This is one of the biggest disappointments for buyers of the charge 5 (to the point that people return the product or refrain from upgrading), yet it also seems like a very straightforward and cost-efficient thing to fix, with users even suggesting that we simply give the community ways to design faces.

I don't understand how there hasn't been any development or comments a full 8 months after release...

Let me give my opinion why adding Charge 5 to sdk would be a good thing. 

I'm a dev and a owner of Fitbit sense. I came from the original versa and also have an inspire 2 with HR  "bracelet".

I like to use my sense thanks to ECG and FA detection. And I would like to have same "versa"tility in a bracelet: apps, clock faces and ECG. Why? Because sometimes I like to wear a mechanic clock on one wrist and a bracelet not looking like a clock on th other wrist. Pb is charge 5 features are limited even if now the hardware seems more similar to the already sdk-enabéed watches. 

Please add Charge 5 to SDK and keep it's design look like a bracelet, and promoting the fact that users wearing mechanical watches also use connected bracelet you will increase your market share...

Yes, please let us make custom clock faces.
I just bought the Charge 5, I had the Charge 3 before.
I'm not happy with the clock faces of the Charge 5.

I have bad eyesight and there's not one clock face I can see without my glasses, I didn't have that problem with the Charge 3.

Users should be able to customize the colors, layout, and stats shown on screen without needing a programming background. As someone that works in a hopstial, seconds are required for my watches, but only two of the analog clocks have seconds and they are so minimal, it's hard to quickly glance down and know the time.

**ahem** I agree with that SOOOO much! I wanted to change it back for a charge 4 because of that but they don't sell it again!.. The design are so awful and pretty much everyone thinks the same things... I think it's really sad and horrible that they need to put that under vote to the people of the business to consider this... When you have a lot of customer coming back for stuff like that  (the most important part of a watch) shouldn't you just consider it and send an email to all your costumer to have a bigger picture of the problem...

I just bought 2 Charge 5’s.  VERY disappointed ☹️…Barely any clock faces to choose from - the ones they have are not really functional (I am looking for: time/date, battery %, steps, activity).  Also, super ugly…what the heck!
