Integration with Google Fit

I'd very much like my fitbit data available in Google Fit. I use a different app for food logging, but Fitbit's step counter, sleep tracker, and aria are great.

If their data was available through the new Google Fit it would be fantastic.

I couldn't agree more my galaxy note has heart rate sensors and sometimes I forget my fitbit or my phone so it would be really nice of the data would sync for better overall data in one place. Google fit or s health

When choosing android wear vs the fitbit the app is an essential component for consideration. I really want to see the flexibility in your corporation to allow users to choose which app they want their data analyzed in. The fitbit app had the basics, but Google fit is universal for Android and android wear users. I request syncing compatibility between fitbit and Google fit worth the introducing of the Blaze. I think you'll see your profits surge!

I start beliving that Fitbit is afraid to free its data because it is way inacurate!

I mean why is it counting in floors and not in meters?

And just look at your heartrate after an hight intensity workout or at your gps track after a run... 

My oppinion: Make a better hardware and free your data so I can use a better software.

And sorry Fitbit, I think the Blaze is a step into the absolut wrong direction. Instead of making a good sportwatch (accurate, free data, waterproof and working without smartphone!) your trying to copy the apple watch but making it even worse...

I dont hold out much hope for integration but it's definitely one the biggest bugbears for me. I like my tracker but this artificial hobbling of its potential means I wont be recommending it to anyone else until resolved.

Unfortunately, now that I'm more experienced with what fitness trackers/apps are available, I see Fitbit is falling way behind with what stats their fitbit app provides!
Using Google fit, Polar flow or fitwell... or a Garmin, Moto 360, or Samsung fitness watch... Etc... You immediately see that they have spent the time to craft a beautiful and useful user friendly app chock full of stats and graphics, graphs, charts and bells and whistles! Have you seen what Google fit offers? Is amazing! Why can't we even sync with Google fit?!
Becoming serious about my health has made me realize I may need to upgrade to a more serious fitness tracker solely due to the limited functionality of the app itself.
Even fitbit.com is better than their own app (and I've tried fitbit premium, it is completely useless and a pain in the butt).
I'd pay for a good app.
Please hear me FITBIT.
Update. Upgrade. Improve. Compete.
Don't lose more customers because you lack the interest in your own app. Your products deserve more.

Specific requested features:
- a quick button on the main dashboard for gps tracking to become enabled/disabled
- an awesome graphical representation of the daily steps/goals like Google fits circle... Or pretty much any feature Google fit uses... Or sync with Google fit!
- breakdown workout stats to display more information
- make the app look like it's from this century

The fitbit app needs a COMPLETE OVERHAUL.  A new user interface. New features. A new look. You've ignored all requests for Google Fit integration so hurry up on your own app! It's antiquated and users have noticed. Soon your users won't be yours any longer.

 Wow.. 275+ comments and not a single answer from FitBit or even indication that this is on the works. More than dissapointing. I don't even care anymore. I'm unsuscribing and once my fitbit dies or gets lost, not purchasing a new one.

I wish I did my homework before buying in to the fitbit ecosystem... which very unfortunately turns out to be a rather closed ecosystem. I'd love to see Google Fit integration - very disapointed in no response from FitBit and no transparency into any plans for a more open ecosystem... Aria and Charge HR will eventually be replaced with Withings and Moto 360 Sport or newer - both of which will sync pretty much anywhere =/

Please add FitBit / Google Fit integration. Believing this already existed is why I wanted a FitBit in the first place. It makes sense for the "internet of things" that these applications and products 'speak' with one another without the consumer having to do it manually. 🙂 Thanks!

Yeah... This seriously needs to happen. The FitBit app is good and all, but to intigrate every app that you use into Google Fit or Apple healthkit would make everything so much easier and easier to maintain. Please let this happen!

I bought a Fitbit a year ago and since then my use of it has dwindled. I probably won't use it again, or get another one unless I can intergrate it with my Google fit regimen.

It seemed so natural to me that I did not check if Google fit would be integrated before buying. Please make it happen before we go to the alternatives:

That is a great idea, I also think this would be very uselful for people like you that use different Apps. 

It would make our premium membership more useful to share information and obtain it from other third party Apps.

this is related:  How about Apple Watch and Android Wear apps.  convert your non Fitbit into a Fitbit - but only make it available to premium subscribers.  This way you make up for not selling a device.

Google Fit integration must happen.

It is a selfish behavior not doing it, it's a matter of fact that the google ecosystem is light years wider, with more developers on it and with tons of integration.

If fitbit doesn't integrate their app with google fit they will be soon cutted out from the evolving android wear ecosystem. They should make an advantage of it NOW, where the android wear ecosystem is still small with low trackers available so that users are encouraged to buy their product supported by a google integration.

I've already left Fitbit.  it was nice while it lasted, but I needed more variety and access to different kinds of data.  I now own a Moto360 sport.  Since Fitbit doesn't sync with Google fit, I am now using Google Fit soley.  My Moto360 has everything My surge had and more. I now get all notifications, more reliable bluetooth, more customization, apps, etc.

I would have liked to continue using Fitbit as my data health hub.  Changing ecosystems has been slightly annoying, but I'm getting used to it.  since my sleep patterns haven't changed in the past year, I'm content with not really caring about that.
