Integration with Google Fit

I'd very much like my fitbit data available in Google Fit. I use a different app for food logging, but Fitbit's step counter, sleep tracker, and aria are great.

If their data was available through the new Google Fit it would be fantastic.

I really can't believe in 2017 we still have to ask for this. Google fit integration please. I think I'll just return the blaze I just purchased until then.

Without this I can't see my self buying a fitbit product, sorry. Its just unfortunate that so many others that want his already have a fitbit and it's dissatisfied because of the lack of this feature.

Part of the reason why I bought a fitness tracker was to be able to track my overall health through a unified network of softwares. Mind you, Fitbit had an excellent application for tracking data, but because of health problems I struggle with, I need to be able to take this data to other platforms.

On a side note, and slightly off topic, I use  Android Oreo, and the Fitbit app is all but unusable currently. That leaves me with absolutely NO accessable data whatsoever. I hope that Google fit integration becomes one of your priorities in the near future if you expect me to continue purchasing products in the future.

+1 for Google Fit integration for both Fitbit and Aria scale. Given this many responses, it is hard to believe this hasn't been solved yet.

Hello! I would love to see the Google Fit and Fitbit synchronise data between each other. Especially hear rate sensor log. To compare you activity data (like speed or elevation with your heart rate at that time). Maybe synchronisation between calories burn and exercises would be nice too.

I would really like the ability to sync my Fitbit data to Google Fit

I am near the end with FitBit.  Band is disintegrating, sync doesn't always work.  Need to replace, and the replacement will integrate with Google Fit [period].  You've been ignoring these requests for years, so it looks like I will need to give up on FitBit products.

I had one a couple of years ago (the first charge HR) and didn't have google fit.

I got the charge 2 around 1-2 months ago and was hoping that this was done already.

Since it's not, and Fitbit is just ignoring us, I will be ignoring Fitbit in the future..

(I will most probably sell the Charge 2 in the next couple of months.)

I returned my Fitbit Blaze because its sync function (with the smartphone
Fitbit app) was erratic and because it doesn't sync with Google Fit. Am
switching over to Samsung Gear Fit2.

I actually just assumed that fitbit would integrate with Google fit before buying one, now I'm stunned to find out that it does not...why?? It's just a basic feature that all the other fitness apps I use have already done for at least the past year

It is pretty obvious that Fitbit, much like Apple, is trying its hardest to try to "lock in" its tracker users into their own (inferior) environment, effectively shutting off competition on the basis of 'best device wins'...

I threw my Fitbit out and switched to the LG Watch Sport; while I do lose sleep tracking, for now, I just use an app to enter my sleep times and rate quality as to how I feel in the morning. I am sure if I were desperate, I could find something to track sleep outside of Fitbit.

Silly "walled garden" strategy, Fitbit!

Yes, I returned my Fitbit Blaze and ordered a Samsung Gear Fit2 for this
reason and also the Blaze was erratic in linking to the smartphone.

Does anyone know of a great fitness tracker that tracks everything
including sleep quality and has challenges with friends? I'm losing my
patience with the lack of Google Fit and other app integration from
Fitbit. It's taking way too long for them to get off their high horse and
come around. I love my Blaze, it's a fantastic device and Fitbit has a
great app, but come on, Fitbit. That integration is even a basic feature
on cheap knock-off devices.

Have you looked at Samsung Gear Fit2? I have ordered it, but not received
it yet. It is much cheaper, has it's own GPS, tracks sleep and integrates
with Google Fit, via Samsung Health.

This thread started in 2014 and in July 2017 there's still NO official answer by FitBbit team.

They can just admit that their device will never be able to dialogue with the world's most popular fitness app, aka Google Fit. Differently than many other popular wristbands.

Think before you buy...

I've had two Fitbits Charge HRs. The first broke but FitBit was so kind to send me a new one. The new one's band broke. I loved my Fitbits though and I was busy researching a new one.

My investment company now offers share purchasing for fitness points. Here is text from their website:

"Stash uses Google Fit to work out how much to stash based on your fitness data. ....

Fitness devices and apps from Strava, Withings, Runtastic, Runkeeper, Noom Coach, Android Wear, Nike+, MyFitnessPal, Lifesum, Basis, Sleep as Android and Xiaomi Mi bands can connect with Google Fit to show all of your data in one place."

I was surprised to see fitbit is not there. Then I found this post and now I am totally shocked and dismayed that there is no Google Fit integration. I'm sorry this is such a major deal breaker and sad moment. My suggestion start listening to your community .
