Let us delete in-app notifications/messages

This is clogging up my iphone. I have a year or more worth of useless Fitbit notification messages I'd like to shed. I saw a 'solved' notice in here from a year ago stating it was resolved by stating there is no solution. This is simply ignoring the myriads of request/votes of customer requests/concerns to fix it. Fitbit should have had a REAL solution by now and apparently do not. In reality this problem has not been resolved but simply is being ignored by the company/moderator. The solution 'solved' to put a vote in ideas does not address the real concern or issue at hand. What's the point of a community forum if Fitbit does not listen to its customers? The thread should have flagged Fitbit/moderator to produce a real fix, we're still waiting.

Just be sure you have a newer iPhone, some of the older ones can not use the recent apple watches. But enjoy your Apple Watch because Fitbit won't have it fixed by this Black Friday or any Friday in the near future.

I’m just asking for s response by Black Friday. If no response, well, it’s time to move on.

Well, I noticed s bunch of our posts are MIA.  Thanks Fitbit- you really know how to take care of your once loyal customers.

Yes I've had a few of mine go MIA from the Fitbit censors.
I was going to write a sarcastic comment on the 1 year anniversary of the last notification I received 11/11/17. I turned them all off on that date. I have not received one since BUT the notifications prior to that date are still on my app. How's that for customer service?

Develop a method of remove/delete notifications and messages from the App. I do not wish to have over a years worth of notification. A simple swipe and delete would be perfect. Both on the phone and perhaps check and delete when using a computer.

As always, I agree. Fitbit should have come up with a valid solution by now. But they can't or won't! I turned my notifications off 11/17 and I still can't delete them.
Come on Fitbit get with the program!

I finally surrendered to the FitBit hierarchy’s stupidity and quit using my device and crushed it with a stone! God, it felt GREAT!!

Yep, I wanted to upgrade to the Versa but I passed on their recent sale just to say FU to FB.  It’s not only that they fail to correct the issue, you can’t even get an honest response from them. You know the old saying.....change or die.  I’m pretty sure they will be out of business soon because they refuse to change and listen to their customers.

They were purged by the stupendous and wonderful Fitbit humorless censors. The problem isn't solved it just angers the customers even more.

Wish that were correct, but for every one of us that is fed up there are unknowing souls who will buy their first one.

It’s just a matter of time until this issue is known beyond this community BB. This and the fact that FB doesn’t listen to/care about their customers will go viral at some point. We should start our own BB/user group so we can’t be silenced by the moderators.

I wish there was a way to delete messages. Not the notifications but messages. My kids just got fitbits too and are messaging me like crazy and there is no way to delete or clear. All other apps allow the user to delete/clear messages. I look forward to your response. Thank you

Get rid of your iphone and get a Galaxy Notepad.  My notepad has a pulldown to clear all notifications.  It works for Fitbit notifications as well as others.  Since it works for Android, it would appear to be an ios problem.

That's really not a solution. FOr a product which touts iPhone use the
function should be across the bar.

If notifications can be deleted from other phones but not IOS iPhone then it’s cheaper to change the tracker brand!

Agreed. After over 2 years that's the 1st time I've heard that you can delete notifications/messages on Samsung or Android phones.

I agree. Telling people who put a huge investment in their iPhone to buy
something else is a cop out. I'd rather buy a new fitness tracker that
supports the iPhone, it will be a much cheaper option. I think fitbit
needs to fix this issue for iPhone users, since they claim to support
iPhones.
