Let us delete in-app notifications/messages

This is clogging up my iphone. I have a year or more worth of useless Fitbit notification messages I'd like to shed. I saw a 'solved' notice in here from a year ago stating it was resolved by stating there is no solution. This is simply ignoring the myriads of request/votes of customer requests/concerns to fix it. Fitbit should have had a REAL solution by now and apparently do not. In reality this problem has not been resolved but simply is being ignored by the company/moderator. The solution 'solved' to put a vote in ideas does not address the real concern or issue at hand. What's the point of a community forum if Fitbit does not listen to its customers? The thread should have flagged Fitbit/moderator to produce a real fix, we're still waiting.

I want to be able to delete the automatic notifications received within my app. I have hundreds telling me only 1,209 steps to go to reach my target etc etc. These are irritating and taking up unnecessary space

How many people does it take to complain before this feature is either fixed or added to our aps.  I hate having messages on my fitbit older than a year long.  I see that several people are asking for this fix.  Nothing done nor nothing planned.

How about letting me manage (delete, read, etc) my notifications? Either that or give me a way to turn them all off. They are worthless when the list is endless and from years ago.

Hi, everyone, so I want  to be able to delete messages on the app, I have unwanted notifications, and I want to get rid of them! They are annoying 😠😡 and I have it because of the message box will show notifications, but not give me them. Vote if you agree, and I bet some FitbitCommunity members just gonna delete this like they have the other posts, or merge it, cause that's all they seem to be able to do! It drives me nuts! Because when I want to get a message out, they delete it.... So make something to be able to delete notifications please!!!!!!!

I can't believe that I am not able to delete messages. Are you serious?! You guys are a multi-million dollar company and you're telling me we cannot do something as simple as delete messages? I have messages in my app that are over 100 days old. I do not want to hear the system displays the most current 100 messages. That is not a solution, I need them to be deleted. Please have a supervisor reach out to me. I know your developers can manually delete messages. I will be following up with your company if I do not receive a response within the next week. If no action is taken I will take the next steps.

Thank you,

Recently just started using the phone app.  Did a live chat and the gentleman told me I needed to come here to give my suggestion.  Is there a way to delete old Notifications?  I have them going back to 2017 but ironically there is nothing for 2019 or 2020.

Still unable to delete the rubbish from the "feed" section of the app ... holding the message achieves nothing, three dots only gives the option to "report" the message .. along with all the folks who have posted over 1500 messages over 5 years .. we would simply like to delete unwanted mesages from the app .. not difficult surely .. and you've been asked so many times it's untrue.. but, as always, to fitbit .. the customer knows nothing. Getting to the point I might well just bin this and get something that works how I want it to,

I think Google finally fixed the messaging.
