It would be great just to even be able to log a meditation the same way it is possible to log different kinds of exercises. It’s not necessary to track heart rate and so on, but just to keep track of meditations (duration, how many per week, etc.) to give a better overview of one’s weekly health habits.

Hi @Mgitsme! Great suggestion, thanks for sharing. I've moved it into a similar request. Hopefully we will have support from other users since more votes and comments an idea has the more visibility and momentum it gains.
Hi @shïyäkahn, thanks for taking the time to share your feedback regarding meditation with us. This feature suggestion already exists so I’ve moved your post here. Don't forget to add your vote!
Can we please track meditation separate to exercise? I don’t want to see 7/7 days exercise ticked off simply because I’ve meditated a few minutes every day. Doing meditation doesn’t satisfy my goals for getting fit, the two need to be tracked separately. I can’t be the only one?

Can we get a mindfulness tracker as part of the app? Just like for exercise but only for mindfulness practices. Stats like starting and ending heart rate, time, and things similar could be included. I don’t want to add my mindfulness practices to exercise like it prompts because I don’t want a 5 minute mindfulness practice to count towards my total days of exercise.

Sad that it takes more than 3 years for a great suggestion from @Bryan07 supported by the community to even be considered. Maybe Fitbit needs to get a bit more agile as an organisation. My vote goes for an earlier suggestion in this thread:
I totally agree and was pondering the same thing this morning. I don’t understand how a tech company can move so slowly when users are passionate about providing suggestions to improve their product. I love my Fitbit but reading through these great suggestions and seeing them sit for literal years is demoralising! Some of them should be absolute no-brainers to act upon. 😐
Yep, if it’s a good idea with low resource implications - just do it and refine later. Especially in response to customer demand. It’s quality management 101. In this case, all they need to do is add Meditation as a category under the Categorize Exercise option after timing an activity. Programming wise that should take about 5mins. Actually recognising Meditation automatically is a far bigger ask as it’s so hard to distinguish from sleep. Anyways, let’s see what their development team says after considering options ... I guess we’ll hear back in about 2 years. 😞
Yes most tech companies would understand the value of this level of engagement and act on it. No wonder Fitbit stock is flat for all these years. Now that Google is acquiring maybe we will see more responsiveness. 🙂
