Meditation Tracker. Would nice to track sessions and see how much the heart rate slows down. Could also be part of the "challenges" section.

This is needed because:
Many do not want to log meditation sessions under exercise, but instead under meditation as a way to track mindfulness habits separately from exercise habits. The ability to separate meditation or other mindfulness exercises from exercise is critical to the whole point of mindfulness.
Hi @mortonboots, thanks for explaining why you would like to have the option to see a Meditation Tracker on Fitbit devices. I've moved it into a similar suggestion which has been updated as "Under Consideration". You can learn more about it here. I hope to see you around.
Hi @MsMay, thanks for explaining why you would like to have the option to see a meditation tracker. I've moved it into a similar suggestion which has been updated as "Under Consideration". I hope to see you around. You can also vote for this other suggestion: Individual Mindfulness "Self timer".
Hi @HeliJG, thanks for explaining why you would like to have the option to log meditation minutes and details. I've moved it into a similar suggestion which has been updated as "Under Consideration". I hope to see you around.
When I manually log a meditation it should count towards my mindfulness session goal. It currently doesn't. The only way to achieve the goal is to do one of the canned sessions available in the app. It basically is forcing me to subscribe to premium just to access the sessions, when I could do and log meditation and breathing on my own.
Hi @ChrisRL, thanks for explaining why you would like to have a Meditation Tracker within the Fitbit app. I've moved it into a similar suggestion which has been updated as "Under Consideration". I hope to see you around.
I'd just like to +1 the idea above of a "Meditation" workout type for the Inspire 2 et al. Guided breathing with the Relax app is great and guided meditations are interesting but my existing meditation practice involves sitting in silence. Currently I use the stopwatch to time my session and manually record that time, but if I could log those sessions as easily as a bike ride, for example, I would benefit from that every day.
The Fitbit app has let me log an exercise activity of "mediation" but this doesn't show up in my mindfulness tracker?
Have I missed something here or is this still being worked on?
I use ten percent happier, calm and sometimes YouTube for guided meditations. So being able to log my mindfulness is important to me. Is there any plans in the near future for this to be added?
-Add a health/ medical log so that people with medical conditions such as asthma, migraines, GI issues and sleep problems can analyse how their condition could be effecting or effected by sleep, food intake, exercise, health stats. They could also use a scale to measure daily pain and a medicine usage log, to improve users experience.
Hi @Smith92, we wanted to let you know that the ideas you recently posted already exist on the Feature Suggestions Board. You can see them here where you can add your vote to those existing suggestions: Mood and symptom diary for mental health tracking
Please try to make sure you only post one idea per suggestion, so we can keep the board organized, easily searchable and see which idea other members are voting for. Thanks for participating in Feature Suggestions.
Hi @miranda_d, thanks for explaining why you would like to track Meditation within the Fitbit app. I've moved it into a similar suggestion which has been updated as "Under Consideration".
I practice mindfulness every single day yet i cannot tell fitbit that because fitbit only allows us to use their chosen meditation tracks - which i am not a fan of. This is weird to have a mindfulness tracker yet not allow us to manually log in our minutes. No zen person set this up.
Hi @Magnetoscope, thanks for explaining why you would like to have the option to track your own meditation on the Fitbit app. I've moved it into a similar suggestion which has been updated as "Under Consideration". I hope to see you around.
I practice qigong daily. It is less of a workout than a combination of gentle stretching, deep breathing, and mindfulness. I would love the ability to track something like this via some form of a meditation tracker. Would be wonderful to see heart rate and SpO2 (and wishlist: EDA) data for it as well.
