More badges (Add badge ideas here!)

Need more creative badges and trophies rather than just the lifetime records... that could be more motivating.

Here are a few ideas:
- Badge for reaching 10000 steps for 7 days in a row, 15 days in a row, 50 days in a row...
- Badges based on active minutes/calories/kilometers
- How about some more crazy/funny badges like "night owl" for someone who regularly achieves a lot of steps at night, "out of bed" (same principle but for early morning), etc.
- Badges that reflect poor activity; for instance a badge if you don't reach 10000 steps/day once in 7 days, ...

I think that these are all ideas that could really enrich the experience of fitbit users by increasing motivation and I believe they are all relatively simple to implement in the Fitbit system!!

It's great that we get badges for steps and miles. How about new badges for when you make your daily goal in steps for the month?  It will give people a challenge to shoot for.  You can also have badges for people who keep their goals for 3 or 6 months straight.  I think it would be great motivators.  What about having group challenges where people can compete to get their steps in for 30 consecutive days.

I would like to see more badges after Pole to Pole, and perhaps more badges on the way there, too.  Fitbit has been around long enough that many of us users have already reached the final badge and would love to see more.  The badges are a great motivating feature.

We all know that if you have a great start in the morning that leads to a better day.  It's finding that motivation early in the morning that is a challenge.  I feel I've really accomplished something when I hit 10,000 steps before 10 am.  It doesn't happen often, but it's always noteworthy when it does!  Please help me track these awesome days and a job well done by creating a badge for 10,000 steps by 10 am.  10by10

Fitbit offers users who achieve a certain level of activity rewards in the form of badges. These are great challenges at all levels of fitness.

It's a shame that for the more athletic Fitbit users, those badges quickly get exhausted.
700 floors is the highest badge for daily floors. That amount is not unusual to reach for those living in/near the Alps, Rockies, Sierras etc. It's the equivalent of approximately 2'200m (7200 feet) altitude difference, which sounds like a lot, but it not for those who hike regularly.

It would be great to see badges for 1'000 floors, 1'500 floors in a day or 50'000 lifetimes floors, 100'000 lifetimes floors or more, or also 120'000 daily steps or 150'000 daily steps.

Fitbit, keep us motivated with more challenges!

These are some of my badge ideas

-lifetime step badges

-daily distance badges

-a badge for when you reach your weight goal

-consecutive goal day badges

-daily active minutes

-i also think the pound weight loss badges should be named after something that weighs that amount

I'd love if there were more badges for things other than just steps, floors, etc. My husband has a Garmin tracker, and he got a badge for working out on New Year's Day (starting the year out right), and gets other fun one off badges for events like logging an activity on his birthday. Seems like this would be something Fitbit users would absolutely love. Hope this can be added!

I would like to see some badges related to cycling mountain biking and swimming

As many people are now getting to the stage where some badges can take months or even years to get , it would be good to get a % of how close you are to achieving your next badge on your weekly summary to keep motivation up

The Pole to Pole badge, 7900K miles is the last available badge for distance and a 9000k badge is the distance around Australia on Highway One..  This could be considered as another badge..

See this link.

Have both Weight and Body Fat % rewards independent of each other.  When either are reached, display an award badge, motivational or congratuatory comment like weight goals receive.  Currently only weight goals are rewarded.

I agree completely.  We need new and different Badges.

I've had my FitBit less than 3 Years, since 06 June 2016, and I'm just a Walker with a heavy Desk Time Workload yet I've already received my Earth Badge so there's only one more I can earn.  Granted, it's going to take me another Year to earn it.  But after that???  A friend of mine has 18,823 Miles and 38,487 Floors since 9 March 2016.  What does he have to reach for now?  Granted, we have the Challenges and our own internal Motivations but stil ...

And it really would be nice for us Flatlanders if there wasn't such a great distance between the Floors Badges.  I'm only on my Cloud Badge so I have a lot of them to go but still ...

There are so many neat ideas mentioned in here.  And some that are (to me) a little loony.  So even if FitBit's Programmers are creatively challenged, surely they can listen to their users.  All they need do is come in here for ideas to kick start their imagination!

Would like to see new badges for distances reached after the last available, 12,430 mile Pole to Pole Badge.

I'm old and I need to know fitbit wants me to keep walking or do lifetime miles truly end at 12,430.

That would be sad.

Come on fitbit, add a badge or two.

Thanks

I would love to see more distance badges - it is not always easy to compete consistently with friends, so having a larger metric to work towards and keep myself motivated would be wonderful!

Agree.  I have followed this thread for nearly three years, made suggestions.  Nothing ever gets added despite so many people having made that request.  Its almost like Fitbit is challenging its users to go to Garmin or something.  I would think its a very easy thing to add.  Please Fitbit....At my job, people pay attention and congratulate folks based on getting new badges.  It adds a layer of fun.

Hello

I would love to see a Badge for achieving a Marathon more than one time. I am 72 years old, and pride myself on walking a Marathon per week. It keeps me highly motivated. Would love to see something like I see when I've achieved my 9,000 steps a day - when I reach my weekly goal of 26 miles. That would be AWESOME! Hope to see that soon!
