More clock/watch faces for the Charge 3!

So, the Charge 3 is out and there is a huge let down:

There are only 5 clock/watch faces:

Come on Fitbit...at least include all the Charge 2 watch faces too. We all loved the Charge 2 watch face with the time, date and the highlighted feature (steps/heart rate etc.)

Whats missing:

- Faces with the actual DATE and DAY

- Faces with a DIGITAL SECONDS TIMER

Or to say it again, just include the Charge 2 watch faces. Thanks in advance.

I have that face on my FB and the top line is the time (WX:YZ)  in a fairly large font, under it slightly smaller is the date (i.e. Jan 10). ( see first photo) These take to "top half" of the face. The bottom half shows the various readings via a finger tap with an icon (steps, active Minutes,HR, or whatever you enabled in the app via your computer) and a number underneath shown icon one at a time. . 
If you swipe up, the list of readings appears in sequence along with the battery life that is small and faint on the very top of the screen.(See second photo)

Some of us use our Fitbit (mine a Charge 3) as a second device and wear a normal watch on the other wrist. With this in mind it would be fantastic to make time a secondary visual, ie at the top in small banner style like a stat might be and then have the ability to customise a fixed stat followed by scroll through stat below it. 

That may have been confusing so schematically:

[ top row ] small font size, *time

[ second row ] small font size, *date

# optionally row one and 2 could be a single row hyphenated

[ third row ] medium font, scroll through stats by tapping

[ fourth row ] small font, fixed stat, is your main goal stat. 

Mine for example would read

*Time

*Date

*Variable Stat

*goal stat ie calories

Look forward to comments, support, general feedback or ideally a form of implementation based on the above! 

Why not a face builder for people that is built into the phone app 😋

I just upgraded from the charge 2 to 3 and I too wish there was a clockface that includes time, day, date, heart rate, & steps on the single default screen. What a piece of sh1t not to have such a basic and much needed option. Fitbit could code this easily.

There are now so many requests for this simple feature to improve/ increase the Charge 3 watch face choice at 2,295 votes putting it at 20th highest feature requests votes.

For Charge 3 watch faces "under consideration" since 5th October 2018. It's not the worst as the longest under consideration is from 2013 with 5,969 votes!

I would have thought it a simple request to add ALL Charge 2 faces to the Charge 3 as

1. They are already made
2. It’s the same system (ie we don’t ask them for a Garmin watch!)

However this seems a slow process and from many of the comments Fitbit are losing customers who chose not to but a Charge 3 or return them once bought. 

As I gave my Charge 2 to my wife when I upgraded I am stuck with the 3.

I live in hope that "Under consideration" may suddenly become released but looking at the time of other requests I/ we may have years to wait!

Would love SOME update from the moderator on current Fitbit thinking on this thread

Another month just about gone as people still continue to flood this post about the option to view Date/Time/Steps/Heart Rate all on one screen like the Charge 2.

Still no comment from the dev team on if this is being implemented, time frame, whether it's even possible, etc.

Maybe we'll get something in February. Don't hold your breath though!

If the Charge3 is selling at the rate/volume indicated, it seems like shooting yourselves in the foot to not release the SDK or at least some tool to allow users to make custom clock faces.

The Charge 2 had a face that had the digital time, date, heart rate, and steps.  I really, really would like to have that on the Charge 3. Can't understand why FitBit did not include at least the previous faces.

I'm still waiting for better watch faces. Until then I won't (or can't) update to a Charge 3.

If my Charge2 breaks, I have to consider buying a completely different brand. 😞 If it takes so long to react to such a simple request, I don't even want to know what happens if a real problem occurs...

I'm very upset with the new firmware update. Now I can't see my steps, the time, and heart rate in analogue stat. Now it has the date at the top, which I don't need on a Fitbit. Moderator suggested we can scale through the stats on the bottom but who wants to do that while they are exercising? We want to be able to get vital information quickly with one glance.

I was satisfied with the old analog clock face. It had time with seconds in the middle, steps on the top and heart rate on the bottom.

I agree with giving us Charge 2 clock faces. I was very disappointed to not have a Date, time, steps and heartbeat option. Maybe you need a way to list items one wants on a clock face and let us “check” our choices.

My fav clockface designs are Mod Clock and analog, but I wish to see burning cals instead of steps (I prefer biking and gym) plus heartbeat instead of date (normally all of us now what day is today...). So heartbeat-clock-cals combo would be soooo awesome! Thank you

There's plenty of requests for it, so hopefully it's something that will be done in the near future.

I am so happy FitBit FINALLY updated their clock faces to include the Retro Charge 2 face.  Now, if they would make the font larger for text messages...things would be all good.

None of the currently available (as of 2-11-19) Charge 3 clock face options have more than three items.

The Charge 2 provides up to 4 items.

When is the Charge 3 going to provide 4 items to choose from like the Charge 2?

more clock faces, it let us customize them how we would like thwm.

 Color screen would be nice.

adding bp, o2, and ecgs. This would allow for better tracking of health goals.

allowing us to add sports/exercises we would like, and not having a limit on how many you can have.

battery life. Everything I read before I got my charge 3 said 5-7 days. I only get 3 days and nights, and I’ve turned my screen wake off.

Apparently so many people complained about not getting a date that they eliminated the best clock face. I personally have no problem remembering the date after I look at it once during the day. What I DO want to see are the stats that are always changing. I want the REAL clock face and the steps I've taken and my heart rate. That was one of the original options. Now that I got a charge 3 it is no longer an option. The ONLY clock that is available with the 2 stats I want - steps and heart rate - is the asymmetrical face which looks like a date depending on the time of day. It's ugly, too. Can't we get a normal clock that shows 2 of the always changing stats with it?

I have a Charge2 and was just about to get a Charge3 when I saw all the complaints about clock faces from October or so. Is there a way to see what is currently available WITHOUT having to buy one first? Thanks!

It seems inconceivable that the Charge 2 clock faces are not available--are source code copy and paste functions not available in your development environment? 🙂    Perhaps it is time to stop using COBOL! 🙂

This situation reminds me of when BlackBerry 10 devices first came out perhaps five years ago and could not sync with Microsoft Outlook for the first year or so. How can such poor product design decisions happen?
