Quick Replies for iOS Devices

When will it be availible to reply with iOS for apple users. I noticed Versa can reply to text but it says only for android. I will never switch to android and the reply to text is the only thing that Fitbit is missing. Apple Watch does all the same plus reply to text and taking calls. Big miss on Fitbits part.

I'm looking to upgrade my Charge 2 and am considering the Versa Special Edition, Iconic, and Apple Watch. I discovered that Fitbit's Versa & Iconic are not compatible with my iPhone. I can get text messages, but cannot respond. I understand I can respond to messages in the Fitbit app, but that is of no value to me. This may be a deciding factor for switching to an Apple Watch. I love the Fitbit features for exercise and sleep tracking, but as an iPhone user if I can't take advantage of the full functionality of the product then it's not worth the expense.

according to Fitbit, iOS is a 'closed operating system, and they are trying to get notification reply. If that is a main feature you need, then you are better of getting the Apple Watch. I doubt that the Fitbit devices will ever get notification reply.

Hope that Fitbit is able to make purchasing of replacement of accessories with more ease. Most of the retailers shop like Best, Challenger etc do not carry any accessories except selling of the watches itself.

The strap is not so durable and since we need to wear, getting a replacement strap is making me crazy ! Why makes it so hard ?

Also, if fitbit can have a normal USB charge like we can plug into any USB charger, that would be great else we always need to bring the extra original charger whenever we are away and sometimes we forget.

We hope to see more ease and improvements. Thank you

I think the watch needs to be more compatible with iPhones- for example being able to reply to messages from the watch (which is available as quick replies on android devices)

also have more apps available

be able to save a collection of favourite watch faces so it’s easier to change

We are an apple device family and we bought our 10yr old daughter a Versa Lite.  Initially she was disappointed by the lack of features texting, music, etc.  I ordered her an Apple Watch for the enhanced feature set but she was torn because she liked the badges etc on her Fitbit.  I immediately regretted the Apple Watch because we limit screen time and she made the grown up decision to keep the Fitbit.  It’s super annoying however that she can’t even quick reply a basic message to us.  In fact it’s a deal breaker.  The corporate games with competitive devices is short sighted.  Give the customers what they want and everything else will fall into place.  No backwards strategy needed. Customers, customers, customers.  It’s super easy really.

I am a new user of the Fitbit Versa after coming from the Fitbit Alta. Buying the Versa I was under the impression I could use quick replies but come to find out I can’t due to having and iPhone. I understand this feature is only available for Android users, but would like to have it available for Apple users as well if possible.

When will quick reply be available for iPhone users? It’s a little frustrating that I am unable to use this feature with my charge 3! I was unaware when purchasing the charge 3 that quick replies amongst other features are only available for android phone users . Is there anything in plan for this please

The charge 3 and other fitness watches should be able to fully work with an iPhone, when you say that you can quick reply with the Fitbit but then you say it’s only for android. It should also be for iPhone it’s unfair for most of the people who have iPhones, I just wish that Fitbit would also add iPhone to do more things also.

I feel as though Fitbit users who have iPhones should also have access to quick relies on their devices. I don’t know why it’s only available on android devices, it doesn’t seem fair.

If you’re going to advertise that a Fitbit device has “quick replies” you need to state that, at the moment, it’s only for users who have android devices.

I know that it’s stated in the device manuals, but most customers aren’t going to download and search through each manual to find the specific stats they want. They’re going to use your stats comparison on your site. If you don’t explicitly state it’s only available for Android users right next to the stat, then it needs to be a hover disclaimer or something.

Apparently this is a hover feature when you’re comparing devices 😑

Hi

Just wondering when Fit-bit will release an update to allow iPhone users to quick reply to text messages, fb messenger messages etc.

I really love the Fit-bit versa 2 however this is the only downside to it. I really do not want to sell my fit-bit and get an apple watch.

Thanks!

Allow the Versa 2 to be compatible with Apple iPhones instead of just Android. Right now the Versa 2 only allows quick responses for text messages with Android phones, add Apple so Apple users can get the most out of their Versa 2's!
