Reply to text messages (scribble/keyboard)

You should make it so you can answer a text from fitbit like the Garmin Vivoactive 3

Please add this for the Versa. 5 pre made quick reply texts aren’t enough. Having a keyboard would be much easier and convenient than choosing pre-made texts.

I just tried the Samsung gear sport for about a month and then came back to my ionic and having the ability to type out or scribble replies in addition to having quick replies(a lot of quick replies by the way)was really useful.  I loved the recent fitbitOS update so thank you fitbit, but if you added many more quick replies as well as something like scribble to reply, fitbitOS would be significantly improved.

To those wanting replies for apple phones, stop telling fitbit, that's apples fault because they close off that ability for none apple watch smartwatches.  It has nothing to do with fitbit.

Hello I would love if you can add a contact app and SMS app with full keyboard I would like to be able to text any one not just people who send me notifications when they send them and I feel it's also a safety feature I live in Florida and there have been a lot of crazy things going on here it would be good to be able to get a hold of the outside world in case we can't bring out our phones I have 2 step daughters I would wanna no there ok so I think having a way to do that is a good idea I know a lot of smart watches have this feature and I know this is a work out watch but why not make it the best it can be also maybe an emergency app but I don't know what that would have yet just and idea

I love this idea I think a voice text may be more convenient only because that would be a tiny keyboard but it’s competing with Apple and Samsung that place fitness apps on their watches

That would be great Would there be a way to make a voice text and make sure it heard every correct word does the versa have a speaker

No the versa is not equipped with a mic but I think it could be a great upgrade to future Fitbit’s

Not for this current Fitbit I think they are making smalls steps I guess we will have to wait and see what comes out next

Please add a keyboard for Versa. Quick reply texts are ok, but still you need to use your phone if you want to type something else. A small keyboard option would be really awesome. Thank you.

I would 100% love this kind of feature. Customizing the precanned messages is nice but definitely not handy after the first message and would love to leave my phone in my bag for lighter conversations and would thus love a keyboard option!!

I'd love to be able to reply to messages with my own words not pre crafted replies. I'd also like to be able to receive messages from whatsapp as well as messages instead of just one or the other. I use both so frequently I hate that I have to choose one or the other

We all know that the Fitbit versa is the Apple watches biggest competition. To help raise the bar a little bit, there should be a scribble when replying to messages. Avaliable for IOS and Android users (if avaliable). This would be very cool. You would be able to make your own replies instead of five pre made replies.

A feature should be added so that you can write full text replies on the versa. It could be done by a keyboard or a scribble pad like on apple watches. This would make the watch much morr competitive.  

You should also be able to select any contact  to send a messsage to !

This would open doors to many other new features, such as making notes, to-do lists, etc...This would raise the bar on "Versa vs. Apple Watch" This would be truly innovative. I would love to see this happen!

Actually you can pity a keyboard on the device screen. I had a moto 360 smart watch and it had a keyboard. The keyboard was more like what you saw on the first cell phones where you had to tap a number so many times to get the desired letter, but it worked

One thing the versa needs is a keyboard to type out replies to text messages. Yes the screen of the versa is small, but I think it could be made. I have a very old moto360 smart Watch and it had a third party keyboard on it. The keyboard was more like the old cell phones where you would push a number x amount of times to get desired letler, but it worked. It also had it where you could hold a sectron of letters and there was a pop-up that let you choose your desired letter. I truely believe something like this could be implemented on the versa

But maybe a violation of an Apple patient, but in theory software can not be patentable since writings can only be copyrighted.
