Threaded Messaging

Taunting, Cheering and messaging within the app is fun, however only being able to see my friends messages to me and not my responses, makes the banter much less entertaining. Almost all IM, SMS, Skype and chat programs allow the user to see the entire conversation (both sides of it). Please Fix the Chat to show the full conversation!

It is very frustrating for me to receive replies to messages I send to my "friends" without being able to see my original "sent" message. Seeing a reply out of context is vot helpful. Please include original message with replies.

It would be nice to clear out messages on the app so you don't have to scroll through and see old ones that have no use anymore.. You shouldn't be stuck with them for 30 days

Would be nice to see Sent messages as well as inbox on the web page. Some of the messages i get back i forget what i said so cannot work out the context.

I fully agree with this. The friend messaging in the Fitbit app reminds me of sms messaging on phones from 15 years ago! A conversation format would be ideal.

I agree that we need the option to delete messages.  I received a request from someone that I just accepted a friend request from asking me if I could call or text him, and then proceeding to tell me what he would like the prize to be if he wins a challenge,which was inappropriate even after I explained that I'm not single, and have since deleted him from my friends. I should not have to see this for the next 30 days, nor should I have to worry about my fiance seeing it on my app.

I use the iPhone app and believe it is ridiculous and very inconvenient that I cannot see a full conversation . Please figure out a way to include this technology in your next update.

Not just delete messages in the app, but also delete challenges that are done and over. I usually have several challenges with different peeps and I hate trying to figure out which are current and which are done when I want to look at something or send a message.

Have a delete messages option either in the app itself or at the top of the screen when you pull messages up, scrolling through all the messages just to clear them all, my finger gets exhausted if I haven't remembered to clear it in a Few days

agreed. I just got a fitbit and started messaging. Was totally baffled when I couldnt see the messages i was sending and all new messages were coming in as new threads. we need something like conversations. each person or group should be seperate and should include sent and received messages. just like facebook messanger or ios imessage.

I am a data junkie and like to keep things tidy. These messages (and yes...most are MUCH older than 30 days) need to go. Thanks!!

I have worked out a little work around for this problem. This i can only see working for PC 

but may create some other Ideas till Fitbit can jump on it.

If you look at your messages and  you try to highlight and copy It just opens up and empty message.

If you highlight the massage plus the name and keep your mouse button our touch pad pressed then

press control C. It copys the message ready to post in the reply pressing control V.
I leave the persons name and put {} round the message.

Thanks john i am fine.

I know its messy but the best i can do so my friends can see what i am replaying to. If they do the same the messaged make sense.Down side is it eats into your letter count.

Agreed! It's also strange that you can't see your outgoing messages.
