Waterproof trackers

I'm looking for a completely waterproof tracker with all of the features (sleep, heart rate, steps, stairs, miles, calories, reminder to move, phone alerts, clock with date, etc) all in one. When??  Please make this your next release!!!!!

Please develop a waterproof tracker with heart rate that is worn on the wrist. I swim for exercise and I need to monitor my heart rate. It doesn't need to track laps, calories or swimming speed, but it would be nice. I'd be very happy to buy something like the Charge HR as long as it was waterproof.  Even a waterproof, snap-on, clear cover would be nice. I wouldn't mind having to remove the tracker from my wrist to attach a waterproof cover each time I went swimming.

I'm an engineer with many years of experience in medical device design and manufacturing.  I'd be happy to provide design suggestions and advice (for free) to Fitbit engineers in order to get a waterproof, wrist-worn, heart rate monitor and fitness tracker for swimming.

I just home from a Fitbit-FREE week of camping, hiking, swimming and biking near Yosemite. I would have loved to keep my Fitbit on with all the physical activity I was doing, but the Fitbit Charge I own is my 4th replacement because it seems like sweat or water immediately pool under the display screen and eventually kill it dead. Waterproofing even ONE version of your fitbits would mean having a lifelong customer in me. In the meantime, I'm starting to get pretty bummed out that I often have to remove my Fitbit when I have an active day of water sports is ahead.

I love my Charge HR, but I also love swimming. Would love to see a waterproof version of the HR so as not to change trackers all the time 🙂

Hi, I own a Blaze and. Charge HR and I've had every other type of Fitbit, except the Alta, as they've been issued. Are there any plans to finally issue a Fitbit that I can wear while swimming? That's what I miss the most with all of my Fitbits. I've tried looking for a feature request for this but other than requests on how to track swimming as an activity, I haven't found one.

A waterproof charge HR would be perfect. I currently have the charge but constantly worry about it getting wet. I work outside 12 hours a day all year long and get caught in heavy rain, sleet, and snow. I a also a swimmer and I have had many times where I almost forgot to remove it from my wrist. 10 ATM or greater would be preferable.

Would like the charge hr to be water proof so I can go swimming. And it can automatically detect that I am swimming

I love Fitbit products, the community, and the customer service is excellent. However, my training (and life) is starting to include more water activities. If Fitbit does not develop a waterproof tracker, I will be switching to another product.

Good Afternoon, FitBit:

We really need a line of products that allow us to swim and that will include the swim strokes to be registered in our step record. Until that time and/or as an option, please develop a waterproof casing for current products. Thank you for considering my comments! Working on a healthier me!

Yes, please! I just bought a Blaze! Love it, but my previous Garmin was waterproof and worked on a battery, so it didn't need to be charged. I bought the Blaze bc of the clock, but really love the waterproof Garmin!

I'm really hoping the next feature Fitbit integrates is waterproofing. Constantly reminding myself to take off my charge HR before getting in the pool has been a hassle this summer. The lack of this feature, (as well as poor durability) has me researching other activity trackers. I've been using Fitbit products for over 3 years and wouldn't want to change over a feature that has already been successfully done by other companies. What are the chances we see a new waterproof model this fall??

'fraid you'll find many threads and replies on here asking for waterproof - Show me a £5 watch that is not warterproof! If your lucky you'll get a 'its all very technical and cant be done' reply, most likly you'll hear nothing from FB.

Cause you can not waterproof anything that is not pressure tested and not made to go under water. So the advice you are giving people is wrong.

I'd like to see a Fitbit that can count lengths and worn in the pool.
It's worrying how many people think fitbits are waterproof. Some are water resistant.
I love my one and the fact I don't have to wear it on my wrist. I wish I could take it swimming. Or not worry about it getting sweaty on my bra.

Please make a waterproof Fit Bit. I bought the Fitbit Alta for my daughter becasue she loves tracking her walking and using it as a watch.  However this summer she is a lifefguard.  She has to take off her fitbit anytime she is on the stand.  Which defeated the purpose of the watch.  She picked up a cheap waterproof watch and has not used her FitBit most of the summer. Smiley Sad  Please make a waterproof Fit Bit!!!!  I know I hate having to take it off at the beach and pool as well.   I would be GREAT is it could track swiming strokes, but just being able to leave it on for the activity would be sooooo helpful.  Maybe a case that could clip around the fit bit?  A seperate purchase item?

I see this has been reviewed by FitBit, but it would wonderful if this would be bumped up to be under consideration.

All I want for my birthday is a waterproof fitbit. I want to take her paddleboarding and swimming and so on...

I understand that the climbing stairs function may have to go, but the consumer should have the choice.

Please Fitbit peeps - all the other brands have waterproof models, surely you want to keep your competative edge?

Thank you in anticipation.

😄
