I'm looking for a completely waterproof tracker with all of the features (sleep, heart rate, steps, stairs, miles, calories, reminder to move, phone alerts, clock with date, etc) all in one. When?? Please make this your next release!!!!!
I climbed 13 flights of stairs yesterday, all while seated at my desk. Seems that whenever the barometer goes up or down, so does my "stairs climbed" count. In other words, it's a suseless feature. I'd rather drop it and have a waterproof device.
Basically we want a model that tracks swimming activity and we are happy to give up the 'floors climbed' feature to get it. It would be perfect if there was a Fitbit tracker model that did all the chargeHR does but swapped floors for swimming activity (laps, distance, heart rate, calories all logged). Maybe the splashHR... I would probably buy a specific swimming device that connects to my Fitbit account like the aria scale does.
Even sweat can cause issues. My surge was "water damaged" because I run in the summer and my surge gets wet with sweat underneath it. Had to get it replaced. Will break again next summer I assume.
My surge was water damaged due to sweat when running in the summer. Swimming would be awesome but right now I would settle for it coping with daily very sweaty exercise.
I adore my Fitbit charge HR but it is lacking the one feature that would make it amazing and that's waterproof!! Please please please consider releasing a waterproof model so that I don't have to take it off when swimming which I do a lot of
I wore my fitbit one in the pool accidentally for maybe 2 minutes tops? & it was ruined. The only thing I was offered was 30% off their already overly inflated prices online. They need to make them waterproof or I will never buy from them again. They also need to make them more attractive looking if you have to wear them on the outside, & be more accurate.
I think there should be a waterproof "case" for each Fitbit because whenever I go to the beach I always have to take it off and never remember to put it back on and lose steps.
The Charge, Charge HR, and Surge are waterresistantto 1ATM, which means the tracker can be submerged and will still work when removed fromwater. However, this does not mean the Charge HR can withstand the force associated with swimming strokes.
My 1st Charge HR broke when I ran the band under water to clean the sweat off, how on earth can it be "water resistant"? The plastic housing really needs to be redesigned so that it's water proof, I cannot count how many times I've accidentally jumped in the shower with it on & panicked hoping I didn't get it wet enough to break it again.
Yes to waterproofing for tracking while swimming! The Blaze is supposed to be waterproof for showering, etc. (dry off afterwards) and has been fine so far. It •may• work while swimming but I hesitate to do so until it is designed and approved for such use by Fitbit.
