I just got my Sense 2 and have no idea how to install apps. Where is the app store? For example, I would like to install the Calendar app.

I took the risk, used the device for a week and sent it back and went back to sense 1 as sense 2 was in my opinion a step backwards. I am still waiting for my refund and I believe this will hurt Fitbit financially with this release as it does not meet what the marketing info stated

I also went back to using my Sense 1.  I'm waiting to see if Fitbit sees the error of their ways and listens to this community and updates Sense 2 accordingly so it looks forward than backward.  Otherwise, I'll most likely return my Sense 2 too.

My Sense stopped working so I waited for the Sense 2. As an iPhone user, the Pixel Watch is incompatible but I noticed that the App Store for the Pixel Watch contains some of the same apps 3rd Party apps from my original Sense. Why doesn’t the Sense 2 have 3rd party apps ? Seems like no one knows. I don’t think it’s a good idea to upset loyal Fitbit buyers , especially in this economy. Keep us happy please and offer 3rd party app support. After all, we spent smartwatch money , and with that we expect smartwatch features. The Sense 2 is really Sense lite at this point.

Yeah the Pixel watch is only for android, so it's pretty ridiculous for Google to kill off Fitbit smart watches that exist in a very different market for different users. I do have an android phone but it's not my primary device, so I'm not going to get a watch just for it. I mainly use iPhone. No, google, you're not gonna force people to change ecosystems by screwing over fitbit users, all you'll accomplish is earning people's distrust in Google and breaking their loyalty to the fitbit brand.. and all of that means lost sales.

Google should really bring back their original motto: "Don't Be Evil"

I wan’t so smart as you And I didnt read the forum first. Now, I’m returning my sense 2 because of al the missing features and I'm very disappointed.

I think I will wait for the Google pixel watch. From what I saw, this is basically a sense 2, but with the features that are missing. And a nicer design. But this time, I will read the comments in the forum before buying🙈

@SunsetRunner And also a much shorter battery life (reportedly 1 day).

@N8teGee but it has reminders to charge before sleep 😋 if you check EE website, you will find the battery life reported as 18 hours. I guess it depends on the usage patterns.

After 6 months it’ll be like 12 hours lol

@t.parker Ah yes, so if you want any type of sleep tracking you'll have to charge it twice a day. Well that will be sure to burn through charge cycles in no time. In a few months that "All day" battery life will become three quarters of a day.

I think people often over look this, but if the battery struggles to make a whole day brand new, it's only going to get worse as the battery ages. Having to recharge more often is just going to accelerate this process.

Can we wear pixel watch during day time and Sense 2 at night? Does fitbit app support syncing both? Thanks.

@asiayeah No its not possible (well not impossible, but not easy). When you go to add the Pixel watch to your Fitbit account, it prompts you that it will remove the Sense (or any other device) from your account. So you would have to go through the pairing process every time you wanted to switch.

@N8teGee Thanks for the confirmation. Well, it looks like fitbit has given up any multiple device strategy then.

It does seem to be the case. Although this would be an ideal reason to have such an option. Pixel watch during the day, and a smaller tracker for sleep.

@N8teGee We can suggest this feature to the feature request board and then expect the usual answer from fitbit.

So there is no real smartwatch(with 3th party apps) yet that has a great sleep tracker and can can surivive more then one day without charging...

@SunsetRunner Yes, it's called the Sense 1. Well right now it seems that's the closest you will get.

Remember the new Google pixel watch only works on android and will not work on an iPhone

The discussion "pixel watch vs fitbit sense" is moot. It's (at least currently) two devices with very little overlap.

Pixel watch is very far from a global release (its not for sale in much of Europe, for instance). It's more expensive. It does not work with iphones. The battery life is a joke. Up to 18 hours for a fitness and sleep tracking device?

The Fitbit sense is in a completely different league. Unfortunately sense 2 makes no sense.

I was waiting for the Pixel Watch release to see if the Sense 2 would suddenly get a simultaneous upgrade, but still there's quiet. I think I'm going to just return Sense 2 and get the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro instead, since it's the only thing offering a somewhat comparable battery life. Unfortunate that with the death of Sense 2 there are no good options with Google or Fitbit now 😕

@mayasaur It is indeed sad that fitbit or Google didn't yet announce the availability of Google Wallet and Google Map for fitbit Sense 2 and Versa 4.
