I just got my Sense 2 and have no idea how to install apps. Where is the app store? For example, I would like to install the Calendar app.

@moothee - yes there are clock faces but they are not supported and there are no apps.

@Guy_ I mean they are somehow supported. As I said, check Drips by Lignite, I used it on Versa 2 and it is working on my Sense 2. I can not put link in here.

@moothee - note: developers can't support clocks or apps if there are problems on the Sense 2 or Versa 4.

As @Guy_ says, it seems to be Fitbit porting the clocks over to the new watches. If there are any bugs or issues the developer has no way to fix them. This is what he means by them being unsupported.

If it is a 1:1 port to the new devices, why have only a selection been done and not a blanket port of all Sense/Versa 3 faces.

Hello all,

I am a little confused on many people's reports on the Fitbit Gallery support on the newer devices (Versa 4 and Sense 2). I have been hearing many people talk about how Fitbit is not support 3rd party apps via Fitbit Gallery, however on some reviews online I have heard that some people have it working. Has anyone got it working, do you think it is a glitch, or do you think this is Google removing Fitbit Gallery support (or postponing it until the pixel watch release/a later time for whatever reason)? I have been considering purchasing a versa 4 vs a sense 1st gen, however if this is the way Google is going to handle Fitbit I will move towards Garmin or Samsung. Tl;Dr I am confused by the gallery support fiasco on the newer devices. Thank you for your time.

Your question @user038472 is very legit and we, users, can't say much more that what you already know. Only moderators could but its unbelievable how little support they are providing. If you look at the replies by the mods in these last weeks (not only in this board but also in other "more supported"devices) they replies have been nearly useless.

My opinion is that this forum is really becoming a user fanbase managed forum and therefore I really thank those people who, with passion, are providing the support as much as they can.

"I raised a feature request to support 3rd party apps in https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Feature-Suggestions/Support-third-party-apps-and-clock-faces-and-Sen...

Unfortunately they seem to already have answered the request with an "eff off" 😞

This is so sad moment... 🙄

I envy you. I only get a week to return. And it's already passed.

Now I discovered all of the disadvantages then it's too late.... I should not believe in GOOGLE.

I returned my Sense 2 the day after I got it. I have never returned a product so quickly. Back to my full featured Sense 1. Probably my last Fitbit device, unfortunately.

I think people should still make these requests over and over and  everyone should vote for them because, they have advertised on their sense 2 store pages that we can download hundreds of apps... still do... so the blatant false advertisement needs to be addressed. this cannot be ignored, and we shouldn't allow them to ignore it.

Yes I can only do so as the return period here is too short (7-days only). I feel deceived a bit because I trust this is a Google product, even can be purchased from Google Store but it's not "Google" at all.

My only hope now is to get Google Assistant, Alexa is completely not working in my country....

Sorry... I think Sense 2 is the same. Maybe change your country in settings...

Thanks moothee. Just Alexa doesn't support our language (traditional Chinese Taiwan) so the function of voice assistant is basically not working.

@denmike2 It is so sad that @YojanaFitbit (Fitbit Moderator) simply mark our most wanted request (which should be a day 1 feature) as "Not currently planned" so quickly.

3rd Party Apps on Sense 2 and Versa 4 - Fitbit Community

I would like to request a refund of my Sense 2 immediately @YojanaFitbit.

So, third party apps support will not arrive according to Fitbit Moderators, but their store still says "download hundreds of apps": will Fitbit release hundreds of apps or they lied? One of these.

@Smaggers Sounds like we should keep our Sense 2 and Versa 4? 😉

Actually @Dopovo moderators, modorate. They try to let the community of fitbit users answer first.

In the past, mods have not been much help with future releases, this also may include future features on existing products.

Also as moderators, they don't necessarily know more than a little bit about the new products until the final release, and then much of what they learn is from hands on.

This tracker has a lot of changes and may require a rework of the interface for programming. Fitbit has mentioned that we will get a working play store.

It wouldn't be the first time that @Rich_Laue gives some of his opinions as facts except that they are proven wrong.

So please @Rich_Laue can you please gives us evidence of your statement?

What I can see from this answer is everything but a confirmation.

Another question: who can provide answers about the Fitbit product? you say not the moderators, judging by the replies not the support, the documentation provided by Fitbit is a total mess, evidently the CC members do not have the devices. It seems users have to risk the purchase to understand if really the device is something they can make use of.

Thanks
