ECG unavailable but I am in the UK

I was struggling to find the ECG app in the gallery as it wasn't showing up at all. After a LOT of googling, I realised I needed to set my profile location (as well as app settings) to the UK. The ECG APP FINALLY showed up!! And it installed too. HOWEVER... Once I started the process, I got diverted to a screen that said that this feature is unavailable in my county. I am in the UK!

Could someone please explain why this is happening?

Out of curiosity, what was country set to before you changed it?  Just wondering if it was a country where ECG is not available (don't know if that would have any effect).

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

So it's always been United Kingdom in settings, but in my profile it wasn't set to anything (was just blank). I'm wondering if it is because I am in Guernsey which is an island off the UK, but there is no option to select Guernsey so I'm not sure it would be this.

@ChumB  It has everything to do with the fact that you live in Guernsey.  You live in a Crown Dependency.  Another user, who lives on the Isle of Man, posted the same question some time ago.  You need to use a VPN to mask your location to use the ECG feature.

I’m in the UK and have access to ECG.  There isn’t a tile, I have to hold the side button for a few seconds and it pops up.
