Google Wallet is now rolling out onto the new generation of Fitbit Smartwatches. I’ve got my Mastercard on my wrist and works brilliantly! Since the new update the UI is NO LONGER laggy. A very welcome new update. Google maps next up!
Advertised on Fitbit’s website is the agenda app on Sense 2….. I sincerely hope that will be coming back very soon!!
Is everyone else in Fitbit Community happy with the new update?

Before you jump into Wallet make sure your cards are supported as there is no way back to FitbitPay once you switch. Even of GooglePay/Wallet on mobile supports your card it doesn't mean Fitbit will also. I doesn't support my HSBC (yet it works on my phone). There are a few threads here from people asking how to revert back to FitbitPay.

Very good tip. Fitbit Pay does not support TD Bank so I may just leave my chase credit card and Fitbit Pay active on my watch once the update comes.

My cards are supported, and I have them on Google Wallet, but cannot be added to the Sense 2.
Reset watch, reinstall fitbit app, log out and in, and etc... all doesn't work...customer service is no help too, they dun seems to be able to find a solution to add my card to the Sense 2

@Flower_Goddess I have already gotten the updates, and I saw Google Pay, hence I switch from Fitbit Pay to Google Pay. My bank card are supported as confirmed with customer service, they have given a number of solutions to resolved but all failed, so now I can waiting for them to get back to me on whats next, or they are resolving their technical side of things.

Doesn't look like I can pick anything else but Fitbit. Once I press wallet the next screen is Fitbit wallet without any possibility to switch.
Is the Google Wallet feature enabled in specific countries only?
I am living in Germany, German bank, German card?

Well I wouldn’t get too exited, it doesn’t appear to work. I get nothing but an error message when attempting to add any of my cards. After a lot of push back on customer services I finally got them to state the following:
“This is a follow up email regarding your Google Wallet setup issue.
Thanks for letting us know about this issue. We’re aware of it and are working to identify a resolution as quickly as possible.
We're sorry for any trouble. We appreciate your patience and look forward to getting you back on track.”

@L3v3n They said some features are not available in all countries, could be possible this is one where you don't get that option.

@JavierPerZam I just contacted them and they told me, "Please be aware that we have already issued 60% of the update for the Sense 2 watch to users, so keep your device synchronized with your Fitbit app to receive the most recent version.
Also, please be informed too that we don't have any specific date when your specific device will receive the update. However, you should keep checking the watch daily to see when it comes."
Guess we're just unlucky 😂😣

@Sparhawk69 I have the same problem. My American Express worked on Fitbit pay, I got the update, switched to Google Wallet, and now I cannot add the card to my Sense 2. I called American Express, and they couldn't help. I went back and forth with Fitbit customer service, and there is nothing I could do. We tried factory resets to allow me to revert back to Fitbit Pay, but no luck. The best option I can find is to do a factory reset on the watch and pair it with a BRAND NEW Fitbit account that I did not convert to Google Wallet. Then I was able to use Fitbit Pay again. But I do not want to lose all my history, so I will just have to accept that I can't use my main card anymore on my Fitbit until maybe someday Amex will support it.
Note, I reached out to American Express today to request them to support Google WALLET, vs. just Google Pay. They said they were taking down my feedback and will pass it along. Maybe if other people reach out to their banks as well it could help gain support. Just putting that out there.

It's true that the UI is more fluid?
