Interval server error when using Fitbit Pay on Sense 2

When will google pay come to the fitbit sense 2? 

 

Because i can't get the fitbit wallet to work! I tried everything and it keeps giving me a 500 internal server error.

I'm sorry for the ones having issues with the Fitbit Pay feature. This isn't the experience that we want you to have with the new Sense 2 and I appreciate your feedback. To further investigate what may be occurring, please confirm the following information:

Error 500 is 

the server encountered an unexpected condition that prevented it from fulfilling the request. This error response is a generic "catch-all" response.

 

Sounds like the error may be on the fitbit server.

Thanks for the response. Ive tried all these steps and keep getting the same code. Tried to attach the screenshot here but also get an error (how ironic). The code in the fitbit pay app comes after putting in the card number and says "500 internal server error". My phone is a samsung galaxy S20 FE, androidversion 12.

Yep. It kinda sounds like they just forgot to turn them on. Oops! I'm sure they can find an intern to configure everything sometime next week. Its no biggie, just a flagship product launch by a trillion dollar company.

To be clear: I have the problem on the Versa 4. 

 

My card is supported, because it worked fine on my Versa 2.

I followed and tried every step in every help article I could find, and also the Fitbit helpdesk has not come up with the solution. 

My phone: OnePlus Nord 2 with Android 11

And I also can't post a picture, getting an error. But the error with Fitbit Pay is after I fill in my card number, date, name and press Next: Error: 500 internal server error

 

If this is not fixed this week, I will return the device.

Had no problems adding an AMEX card yesterday.

 

Just wish that citi cards could be added!!!

Still the same message 500 Internal Server Error. Even after logging out of the app and restarting the smartphone.

I decided to return the watch. My Versa 2 has much more options.

Thanks for getting back with the requested information. I've escalated this situation to our team so they can identify a solution as soon as possible. I'm sorry for this inconvenience and once I have more details from them, I'll update this thread.

In the meantime, please keep syncing your Sense 2 and Versa 4, and keep the Fitbit app updated.

Hey Volkert, greetings from the Netherlands 😅

 

My Sense 2 arrived today and I was able to setup Fitbit pay without issues with my ICS Visa card. Don't know if if I can pay but this will be my next test this weekend.

I'm trying to pare my debit card with the app.

@Volkert any follow up from Fitbit Com? I sitll got no response on my report to them, which is really frustrating. Today a try again; syncing, re installing, rebooting, erase histories, forced stop app,  etc etc etc,  🤔😓. But still got the Internal Server Error 500

@LizzyFitbit today i requested a return label for my fitbit sense 2.

 

To bad fitbit is unable to fix this problem.

 

If you can exend my return warranty i might wait a litrle longer

I'm sorry you're not able to use this feature on your Sense 2. Your feedback is appreciated and while there isn't a time frame, I'll update this thread as soon as I have more information from them.
