When will google pay come to the fitbit sense 2?

Because i can't get the fitbit wallet to work! I tried everything and it keeps giving me a 500 internal server error.

Hi everyone.

Thanks for getting back with the requested information. I've escalated this situation to our team so they can identify a solution as soon as possible. I'm sorry for this inconvenience and once I have more details from them, I'll update this thread.

In the meantime, please keep syncing your Sense 2 and Versa 4, and keep the Fitbit app updated.

That's correct. Fitbit have been silent regarding everything about the new watches. At this stage I would treat it as if it wasn't coming at all (although I'm sure this won't be the case). The point I'm making is that it's best to base one's purchase decisions on the features that the device ships with, not on the promises.

I also had a few problems to connect the server for setting up Fitbit Pay. Later it worked normally. I assume that there are many early adopters setting up their new devices right now and the server is a little bit overloaded. Keep trying (maybe later). Good luck! 😉

I'm having the same issue. Just received the Versa 4 and unable to get Fitbit pay working, the same 500 error. This function is a crucial thing for me, so I hope this is fixed soon

I'm talking to fit bit about the problem. Already tried the basic stuff.

Have you tried to reinstall the app?

Yes, I tried that, no luck. I will just wait and see if it's working in a few hours or tomorrow

Yeah the rest of the fitbit works fine, havent used a lot of other apps though.

The reinstall of the app didnt work for me. I already had contact with Fitbit, all the solutions they provided didnt work. So they are figuring out now what it is, they say it's the internet connection, but wifi or mobile network it all won't help. So I wonder if they can fix it.

At the moment I am hardly considering to return the Versa 4, because I am also missing a lot of features (Spotify, Google Assistant, 3rd party apps, Google Pay etc). And if the Fitbit Pay isnt working, that is a big NO for me.

I tried this for four days now and also got support from the Fitbit Helpdesk: they can't fix it. Still 500 Internal Server Error.

It seems to me like this is affecting Dutch users only? Maybe its bank related? My bank is Rabobank.

Hmm mine is ABN, I will try to contact fitbit tomorrow! Tried everything they say on the forum already, delete and download app new, re-install the versa 2 but nothing works. Big downer if its not possible I used it a lot with my versa!

@diko59  What is then their solution?

Reading all the comments: I don't think so. But I am Dutch and my bank is also Rabobank.

At the moment the Fitbit Helpdesk has no explanation. They are looking for a solution to solve the problem.

I'm Dutch aswell, my bank is rabobank.

I have a Samsung 9+ and tried it on a Samsung galaxy 22 ultra.

Both give the 500 error.
