@JALD321 There is hardly any use. I don't even know if fitbit engineering team is still out there.

Best Answer

I got a reply from their Facebook Page Messenger. They asked for further details LOL. I just sent them the link to this page for them to read. It's a joke!

Best Answer

Fitbit really need to sort this out.

@JALD321 I think we should ask @LizzyFitbit this question but currently she doesn't seem to be active on the community. Any moderator, what is going on?

@JALD321 totally agree.

When I click on the Google Wallet App on the Sense 2.. I get a screen that says "Connecting to Google Wallet" and then a pop up... "Something went wrong.. Error connecting to Sense 2. Make sure that it is close and turned on". which obviously it is... fully synced. When I raised a support case, these idiots got back apologizing that I am facing this issue and not proving a solution. What should I do with their useless apology. I apologized for having bought this piece of crap which doesn't have basic features like Fitbit Pay nor google wallet. The only use it has is to show time.

@Kaps2000 welcome to the club. We have been trying to get this fixed for ages.

So via Fitbit Facebook Messenger, my "case" has been updated to the team to check further and I will be contacted via email once they are done reviewing my case. I asked if they would be addressing all the complaints in this group and they actually said this:
"Our support team will handle your case from here. They will reach out via email. But you can share your experience once your issue is resolved".
They have no intention to address this here and seem to expect me to let you know how to fix this issue after they fix mine? Shocking!
I suggest you all do what I've done and contact them via Facebook Messenger and keep at them until they escalate the case. They're bull**ahem**ting too that this is new new's to them. They know about it and can't fix it imo.
Also, mention that they're false advertising when they state that the Sense 2 (and Versa 4) work with Google Wallet for you to pay with your watch when it clearly does not.

@JALD321 It is interesting that you got them to respond to you and they sounded if they were going to do something. I have a case opened with support about this issue and for a while it sounded if they were going to do something but in the last couple of weeks I haven't heard anything.

@infinidim To be honest, I'm not expecting them to reply to me either because I don't believe they have a solution yet. But the only way we're going to get anywhere, is to force them to acknowlege and adress the problem by continuously contacting them over it. It's 100% false advertising. This watch simply doesn't do what Fitbit claims it can. It's infuriating!

Best Answer

@JALD321 I totally agree with what you are saying. The only thing going with the Versa 4 and Sense 2 in the time between charges. The Pixel Watch I have been told by some who has one and is active has to be charged every day and sometimes in the day as well.

Best Answer

It is infuriating! I decided to get the Sense 2 instead of the Google Watch because of the daily charging requirement for the Google Watch. It seemed like a good decision, too, because the Sense 2 has Google Maps and Google Wallet (Google Pay) and other features and because it wasn't as expensive as the Google Watch. I've worked through the problems I initially had with Maps on my Sense 2 but I haven't been able to get my particular Visa card (which is on the Fitbit participating banks list) to work in Google Wallet. I went online to the Fitbit help chat and was told to uninstall my watch and the app from my phone and to restart my phone and reinstall the app and my Sense 2. It didn't help. I then called the bank and they looked into the issue. They told me there are no known issues with the card with Fitbit and there were no holds or any other limitations.

I eventually was able to add a debit card to my Fitbit app, but I'd much rather use my major credit card - the one that Fitbit's own documentation says should work. There quite apparently are issues with some cards on their list.

This IS a Fitbit issue. Astoundingly, the Chat agent had no idea about the forum or the issues people are seeking help with on this Fitbit Community forum.

What's the point of this forum if there is no Fitbit support linked to it?

Best Answer

Yep - it is quite astounding that there is no activity whatsoever from them on this forum. I'm now on their Facebook page commenting on their posts about this issue. Also left a review on JB's website where I purchased it from to make people aware that Google Wallet will not work on this watch (made sure not to blame JB of course, but made them aware). It really is a "buyer beware" situation and incredible how they are literally doing nothing to address it publicly.

@GaryME I have been through exactly the same stages as you. Fitbit really need to get their act together, they must be loosing so many customers because of the bugs and lack of features on the Sense 2 and Versa 4.

I don't think people know of the issues until it's too late and they've purchased and opened these watches, which is so wrong. Given Fitbit's complete lack of support, I think the only way is to try to make this as public as possible by getting onto their socials and highlighting the issues these watches have. Also wondering if this is a potential Comsumer Affairs complaint?

Yup I can agree on that I purchased the Fitbit for that reason. I think we should be able to return the watch and get a full refund for false advertising but I don’t have my receipt anymore either 😞

@Traut_1986  If you ordered it from Fitbit.com then I am sure that they will have a record of your order.

Update: I managed to get the 1800 number for Fitbit last night and just spoke to an actual person! Not good news though, as follows:
- Confirmed that they are aware of the issue with Google Wallet and Sense 2 (and Versa 4) and to date, have not been able to fix the issue and could not estimate when it will be resolved.
- Confirmed that Fitbit will warrant any returns because of this issue and to take the watch back to place of purchase for a refund

- Acknowledged the lack of consultation with customers and the fact that there are no Fitbit moderators/representatives on this page and will raise the concern with the 'team'
- Acknowledged that there is no point performing any of the suggestions (by Fitbit) to fix the issue because they will not work (wouldn't that have been nice to know 6 months ago for some)

I'd like to give you the 1800 number but when I tried to post this thread, I received this message:
"The message body contains (the number), which is not permitted in this community. Please remove this content before sending your post" - LOL

@JALD321 Thanks for giving us this update. At least we now know what is happening. It is a pity that the moderators didn't give us this information.

Best Answer

@JALD321:  Thank you for the update. I'll just stop trying to get it to work until we have an update and a reason to try it again.

Why, Fitbit, why is the 1(800) number for speaking with you directly such a closely guarded secret? Why don't you monitor this community forum? Why don't you actively seek feedback from your (formerly) loyal customers so we could help you to diagnose and fix the problem? Why do you allow your customers to spend hour after hour trying to fix a problem when you knew it couldn't be fixed.

Couldn't you just let us know so we wouldn't waste our time going through pointless steps and making useless phone calls to our banks and so that we could make an informed decision about what to do next?

Of course, I'm only venting. Apparently no one at Fitbit will ever read a word anyone posts on the community forum.

Will give this a go: 1800 - eight, seven, five, two, three, four
