Fitbit failed my wife today. She has been a Fitbit user for many years, including the Premium service.
Today, a Fitbit she bought on Amazon 9 months ago died. She went online, found and tried every fix available, nothing worked.
She then called Fitbit and jumped through all their hoops too.
At the end, she received an email notifying her that Fitbit was not honoring their 1-year warranty because she purchased it from a “non-authorized seller”. What difference does it make who sells it? You made it and warranted it. You should honor that warranty. She was understandably upset and has decided to stop using Fitbits.
To add insult to injury, when she tried cancel her premium service, she was basically told “yeah, you can cancel but you’re not getting a pro-rated refund for the last 9 months you gave us your credit card number for. Or any refund, for that matter.
Bottom line - she feels Fitbit screwed her and I agree. She is done with Fitbit.
If you’re thinking of buying a Fitbit and the subscription service, think long and hard first, and understand what you're getting yourself into. Buyer beware.

Hi @UnhappyPurchase - it's could be useful to post the actual problem in case it is not a permanent problem with her Sense 2.
Did she contact Amazon they may in some cases honour a replacement if it is totally dead.
In case it is just a charging issue which is not uncommon see How to check charge cable - Sense/Versa 3 won't charge, won't start or blank screen
As for premium be sure to cancel the subscription, even though you don't get a refund, or it will be renewed automatically.

@UnhappyPurchase I understand your frustration, but I want to offer an explanation of why it makes a difference who sells it. Buying from an authorized retailer guarantees that you aren't buying a counterfeit or stolen product. Amazon is a marketplace site. Most third party sellers are honest retailers. Some aren't.
