I would reach Fitbit through chat. They replaced mine when out of warranty

First, don't fret too much about it as the Fitbit will continue to work
without the metal strips. Personally I do not recommend glueing the
strips back on yourself unless you have an extremely steady hand for the
tiniest amount of glue or have done this type of repair before. I did it
once and the strip came off again 2 weeks later. No metal strips for a
year now & my Versa 2 is still working. Judging from all the posts on this
issue many, many others have had the same thing happen after doing a home
glue job on those metal strips.

Mine fell off a long time ago and I had read that Fitbit wasn't covering them under warranty. I tried gluing them on, but it didn't last long. I haven't worn mine in over 6 months now. I had gotten it as a Christmas gift in 2023. Didn't last a year. I tried wearing it without them and I ended up getting rashes in the spots where the metal was. I was very disappointed in the product. I'm not sure how I didn't see this string before, although it's not always easy to find specific conversations in forums. I would like to know how I could still get a replacement under warranty.

I’m having the same issue. 😞 How can I solve this?

I purchased mine August 2023 and after reading comments on here decided to contact them on live chat just in case a couple of weeks ago. They told me it was still covered and generated an exchange, I had to send my face of my Fitbit back and once they received it they’ve sent me a brand new face, so it’s definitely worth a try as it seems to be a common fault with the Fitbit.
