owned my sense for 3 weeks after one waist high drop the screen broke, Fitbit would not even offer a discount. This is my second watch with them. Does any one know if there are an 3rd party screen replacement companies. You'd think fitbit would start using more durable screens since this is clearly an issue with multiple models of their watches... but I mean, we keep buying them even though they shatter like thin wine glasses.

I just broke the screen on my Fit Bit Sense. I must have done it in my sleep, shower or driving to the store. I told Fit Bit that it seems like breaking the screen while working in the yard with a chainsaw or climbing a rock face or something a little more dramatic than the stuff mentioned above seems like yeah okay I messed up and destroyed my watch, but I was SLEEPING!!!!!!! They did NOTHING!!!!!! I see they now have a $60 add on option for a 2 year accidental blah blah but that doesn't help me now! I've had a Fit Bit since 2013 and never had an issue.

Reading all the posts about broken sense screens has me definitely thinking of returning the one I just bought! My screen broke after 10 months and they will not fix replace etc. I can’t buy a replacement screen and fix it myself like an Apple Watch. Wristband broke months ago.
My screen broke in my sleep, in the shower or while driving to the store! Not rock climbing or dropping it off the counter onto a tile floor.

Hi EppieM, I saw there are replacement displays on AliExpress. My guess is you should be able to connect one of those and glue that in place with B7000 glue.

Sold my broken Fitbit sense on ebay as spares for £15 after just a few months and got myself a Garmin.

I purchased mine from Amazon. After reading that Sense displays crack easily, I purchased the protection plan offered through Amazon. When my display broke, it was fixed by the protection company. The protection plan was well worth it.

I am one of those crazy people who goes through life without buying protection plans for small to medium product purchases if I can help it. I make exceptions on washing machines for example. I was bound to get caught out at some point, but in this instance if a product can't withstand usual wear and tear I'll move away from that product and onto something else. I can't remember ever being caught out like this before but have saved much over the last few decades by gambling on not going for the protection plans in the hope that I get a good few years of usage out of the product.

Hi, I know you already had a several answer. But I also wanted to add on this thread about this being an issue that Fitbit is overlooking. I have had fitbit devices since they came out. I had an ionic (my 3rd fitbit) and swapped to a sense after the recall. It lasted exactly 2 months. The screen cracked across. A $300 dollars watch now worth nothing.

I appreciate your reaching out to me as a community member. I've been using FitBit devices for nearly 10 years. Since they were taken over by Google/Alphabet the level of customer service has decreased, the quality of the devices have declined while the prices have gone up and the community forums have been overtaken by fake accounts which are nothing but corporate cheerleaders. I've given up on Fitbit. Good luck and I hope that you're well-served by whatever you choose for your next fitness/health/wellness monitoring device company. . Take care, be safe and stay well.

This Is Exact Same Instance Just Happened To Me 😭😭 Ugh I’m So Upset, Fitbit Should Really Look Into How The Band Disconnects On The Sense It’s Extremely Frustrating To Know That Due To A Band Malfunction That It Just Shattered My Watch 😭😳😬

I’m afraid this isn’t a satisfactory response. My previous Fitbit device had no problems with the screen but was recalled Fitbit due to a safety issue. The replacement Sense Fitbit has a obvious design flaw with the rounded screen which is faulty in my view and my view is confirmed by hundreds of other unsatisfied Sense Fitbit customers in the Fitbit community forums and many other than external forums. I never had any problems with scratches and cracks on my previous product from Fitbit.

So i lost my fitbit sense a few days ago but I filled a complaint in the nearby police station and they found the watch but the watches condition is really bad the screen is destroyed i somehow got the pin to pair the sense back but the touchscreen is not working i was refused to get a replacement
And the most important point there is no way to replace now i just have a bricked 300$ watch this is very disappointing
