Hi guys,
Here is a question. I have Fitbit devices from Versa1 for probably 1 year, then deleted it (I must do it...),and replaced it with Versa 2 for another over a year. Then deleted it from my account, cause I was using Samsung for 8 month. Then Sense come along, was waiting for update first then I purchased it.
I put it into my fitbit account.
When I look around data, I've seen all 3 years of data of all devices I had before. Well, as I wanted data from recent device, wanted to clear old data. I begin with sleep, 3 years, record by record....ti takes 2 hours...
Now the question...how to do it "normally" not one record at a time for the rest.(heart, steps, etc..)
thanks,
Luc.

Thanks Guy_,
Stupid me...I did think about it, but....too late!
When I add my sense to the account, also it adds the 6 Month premium...
If I do it now, probably I'll loose premium....
I don't know if I'll talk with Fitbit, they can move premium to new acct...
Thanks!

Your data is stored in your online Fitbit account, not in the tracker.

Exactly, thats why creating a new Fitbit account would be problematic for LuckyH. He might lose the 6 month premium, as it was awarded to the old Fitbit account.

What about trying it on the Fitbit Dashboard? is there a way there for you to edit the account details?

I factory reset my Sense and deleted my old Fitbit email account. Signed in with a new email account and created a new Fitbit account and still got the 6 months of premium. Maybe I just got lucky. Idk
But like I said, I deleted my entire Fitbit account associated with my Gmail and then made a new Fitbit account with my Yahoo email and still got the 6 months Premium free. Your results may be different but that was my experience.

Thanks to all of you...
Fitbit dashboard do the same as the app. All data remains there.
I spoke with a Curst. Support, they say the trick with new account and free premium can be done but I have to wait until the premium expire...
I think and maybe will try what westsidekilla1 said, and if I'll loose Premium, ok. If I really need it, I'll subscribe.
The part I was NOT thinking about if I'll make a new account, Is Reset the Sense To factory settings. This probably make the difference too.
And probably to end the subscription on old acct....
We'll see, thanks anyway...

No need to reset the Sense, simply connect it to the new account. At this time it will be removed from the old account.

Hi guys,
thanks again to all of you.
new acct, no need to reset Sense.
And premium is back, google recognize the device maybe, but i begin the trial from today!
So all good...And...some last data remained on the watch...how did I do 7000 steps in1 hour, at home??
and clock faces were there, some 3 party did not work, has to delete them and reinstall.
that's because I did not reset the watch. The settings on the watch remains the same.
Thanks again,
Luc

Thanks for the info.
There seems to be an issue with permissions - watch transfer to another account
For some reason stored data on the watch can be uploaded to a new account but new data cannot be downloaded [eg heart rate, steps etc.] from the new account, so clocks/apps won't work properly.
Presumably because the new account holder has not granted permission [ only done when the clock face was installed under the previous account to the previous account holder].
In addition its not sure that the clocks/app resident on a watch are synced when attached to a new account. There can be issues when using only one account, so possibly worse with 2 accounts.
Hence its probably necessary to reinstall clocks under the new account, with permission granting, to get the phone app and watch on the same understanding and avoid additional issues.
