If you set the temperature in the Fitbit App [profile photo => App settings => Units => temperature] and you are still not getting the degrees in Fahrenheit or Centigrade as you have defined it, it is because the Weather app has its own settings.
To fix the temperature degrees for Weather:
In the Fitbit App click
Then sync the watch.
For weather showing directly on the clock face there may or may not be a clock face setting to change.
If it is still a problem,

Thanks Guy_, Your answer “If it is still a problem”, worked for me. Started by deleted the AccuWeather app and reinstalled it. Change the location like you recommend and it worked. Thank you for this solution.

App is impossible to find what you're talking about. Very frustrating.

You need to install an app like AccuWeather, then it should be under settings Apps. You can use search.

I found the setting, but those directions didn't work. I had to:
Open Fitbit App
Click top left button (small circle)
Scroll down to App Settings
Scroll down to Units
Click on Temperature, select Fahrenheit
Thanks anyway!

Thank you! I'd already followed the other directions to change the units in settings, but my device was still showing both F and C depending on which screen I was viewing. Your clear instructions helped me to change the weather settings within the Weather App itself and it solved my problem!

Thank you so much! @Guy_ to the rescue once again! About a week and a half ago you gave me the process to reset everything and my “too many stair count” was corrected. Today you gave me the process to fix my watch from being stuck on Celsius permanently even though settings said Fahrenheit. Because of your help I’m moving back in the direction of being a Fitbit devotee! Bless you for your helpful and dedicated support to this forum!

I'm tired of it all. After two years with a Sense, my weather changed to Celsius. After multiple searches online, I got to this page where the instructions are
I have both so which is it. Why do I have to search so long to find one little setting that Fitbit changed two years into my ownership? I didn't change it to Fahrenheit. I'm not Canadian. Or European. or every other place in the world. I bought this in the US.
I got it working but as an IT Manager and coder, this is one of the worst apps I've ever seen in use out in the public domain. It truly is awful.
For a watch that originally cost about $300, you should come to my house and fix the C° for me. See there? It took me 2 second to find that I could insert a "degree" symbol by holding down the ALT key and typing 0176. That's old school and it works. I would say Fitbit needs to get a life, but that makes no sense. How about "Fitbit needs to get an app!"

Guy’s post is the one that got me through this less-than-stellar user experience:
ACCOUNT>SENSE>GALLERY>WEATHER (located under the SENSE TAB)>SETTINGS>UNIT. In UNIT change to ‘F’ and you should be good to go.
Hope that helps. Again check out Guy’s original post — he is the true expert.

Hi @Nonsensebit - @MalvernBound is correct.
The explanation for why it says Gallery (or Apps), is intentional, because some people may have an old version of the Fitbit App where the tile was called Apps [or Clocks] but recently Fitbit renamed them to one Tile called Gallery.
Really confusing because many old instructions have not been updated hence the reason for this post to help out users with only a Gallery tile.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate you @guy for fielding the questions I did it over 6,000 times for BlackBerry as an approved expert back in 2010-2013. But it amazed me WHY I had to spend so much time explaining basic things to the user community.
I find it's infuriating that they laud you for your expertise but nobody notices that they have to come to this forum to figure out how to run their own watch and their own app time after time after time.
Yes, I openly admit I have a chip on my shoulder about Fitbit and its antics pretending to be "for the people". If Fitbit cared about my health, they wouldn't stress me out with their Watch and their ridiculous App.

THANK YOU, Guy! I’ve tried every “logical” step to change my Sense to the unit of measurement that it’s set to use! Why would anyone think they’d need to go to the GALLERY to reset it from Celsius to Fahrenheit??!! Give yourself an extra cookie and two attaboys!!🎉🥳
