Irregular heart rhythm notifications prompt is greyed out

I live in australia and i went to check my sleep on my sense and there was a big banner at the top telling me my sense can now alert me if I have irregular heart rhythm and to set up now, so I tapped it and was reading it all then at the bottom it had "set up now" but it wasn't responding to my tap, seemed greyed out.

I searched and followed online instructions of going to assessments and reports but all I can do there is view my results.

Why am I not able to select to get notified of possible afib?!

No Nixietrix you don't need Fitbit premium because I can verify it still doesn't work in Australia.

It doesn't work for me either - the page is FROZEN at 'scroll down' too. Perhaps this can be sorted as it would be a great asset to have.

Perhaps someone from Fitbit - maybe you LizzyFitbit, can ensure the option is actually switched on in Australia? I initially thought I must have been doing something wrong, but clearly not as I can see several people on this thread are having exactly the same problem as I am. Please reply with something more a positive than 'it works in Australia', because it DOESN'T. 🤔😣

No the so called 'stress/mood app' on the Sense 2 does not work in Australia and if you contact Fitbit Support on the phone they have no answers aside from the obvious which you would have already unsuccessfully tried and then they pretend they have escalated your case.  The short answer is ignore the stress/ mood feature and pretend it isn't there because all the other features are great. I even took my Sense 2 back as faulty and got a new one under warranty because I had the unsuccessfull Fitbit Support Case Number.Same thing with the new watch the Stress/mood thing does nothing even if you log your mood several times a day and do some of the exercises. It was a sad day when Fitbit put that little mauve icon in the top left-hand corner of the watch faceSent from my Galaxy

Ok, since my last post, I can confirm that the Irregular Heart Rhythm notifications feature now now available (in Australia) on my Fitbit Charge 5 and I’ve successfully set it up.  You may need to update the Fitbit Charge first.

I have opened support request for this. It took some convincing fitbit that it was a problem. (factory reset and eventually video of problem). It has been escalated so we shall see.

I live in the US. Setting up my new Sense 2 and the button is greyed out. I can't complete setup.

@TblewisvaI I would suggest that you open a support request. I have one opened for Sense 2 and havent heard anything new for a few weeks, so I think more complaints would get it further up the tree. The hard bit is convincing support that it is NOT user error. If you dont want to go through multiple factory resets, I suggest that you video the attempt to do the setup, starting with "turn on Afib notification". When you have a proper contact from support, then send them the video.

That said, I dont see any evidence that fitbit have fixed ANY software bug in last year. They released Sense 2 with well-known easy to fix bugs that are present in original Sense.

OK - I'll see if I can get the ticket opened.

I wish you luck, but unfortunately, for your efforts, I agree with scaddenp that Fitbit hasn't fixed any bugs from the original Sense 😢 the corollary being you can waste a lot of emotional energy trying to resolve certain issues and features that don't work properly on the Sense 2.

Sorry, something went wrong.

I hope you find a solution because I would love to know how to get the RSA feature working.

New versa 4 in Canada, not able to setup afib notifications. It does say available in Canada, one of the reasons I got it. Appears to be false advertising

I live in the US and get the same dead end that the above poster got.

Interesting! This confirms it's a worldwide problem. The 'frozen' grey button will not allow anyone to complete the setup of the irregular heart rhythm feature. Fitbit Support doesn't have any answers either.

Can someone from Fitbit please help us? 🙏

After about 5 restarts it worked!
