Mandates that you switch your Fitbit 4 to Sense

I have a Fitbit Charge 4 that I really like. There's nothing wrong with it. I just wanted to add a Sense to my account for the added features. It will only allow me to have the Fitbit Charge 4 or Sense on my account at a time. It insists upon set up that I switch over to the Sense from my Charge 4. I have always had several Fitbits synced on my one account. For example, I have a Fitbit One, Charge 2, and Charge 4 that have been on my account for years with no problem. Why does it have to be one or the other? If I want a lighter Fitbit on for the day I would like that option.

Why can't Fitbit Charge 4 and Sense be added together? This is a great feature to be able to have several Fitbits rather than limiting me to one for me and for Fitbit (from a sales perspective!).

From Can I use more than one Fitbit device with the same account?

As seen there, the One and Charge 2 and other older models are compatible with each other and with one newer device, but cannot have 2 of the newer devices on same account.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

@PrayWorkMove The request to have more "modern" Fitbit device under the same account is very popular.

Raised in July 2018 it has so far collected 1902 votes but the discussion has been strangely locked despite being "Under consideration" (Usually Fitbit moderators lock topics only when Not Planned so I'm not sure if this means something)

Thank you for your response. So odd to have a feature like that, it inhibits you from having more Fitbits!

Hello JohnnyRow - Will this be something that they look into making the different newer versions compatible? I am seriously considering returning the Sense tracker due to this loss of functionality,

I have no inside information.  However, this has been a big complaint for quite a while so wouldn't hold your breath for a quick solution.
