My Sense 2 had been fine with the battery lasting a few days. Recently however it's started draining within about a day. I'd not changed any settings, but have now turned off many settings and changed to button display, but it still drains quickly.
It's around 3/4 yrs old so out of warranty

Hi @DHLawton - your post has been moved to the correct forum as it is not a Sense 2 or even a Sense if it is 3/4 years old, probably a Versa or Versa 2. May be you could correct the title when you find which.
If you click profile photo in the Fitbit App, it will show you which watch it is. You can also use the SimpleCheckUp app to get more details about it, if there is a doubt.
As regards the battery, sudden fast battery drain is normally a sign of internal damage, possibly from water getting in, or some firmware or app change on the phone or watch.
To verify which, logout of the Fitbit App, clear the storage cache and force stop it and restart both phone and watch. It may help.
If not try turning off the phone Bluetooth for a few days to see if the situation improves.

Best AnswerI hope you will not move my post as I can assure you I have a Sense 2, not any other model. Have used Fitbits for many many many years and know exactly what I have.
I have a fitbit Sense, about 1 year old. My fitbit went from 100 to 7% is less than 70 hours (less than 3 days). That is one of the longer times it has lasted in recent months, I normally have to charge it every other day. I have tried resetting the watch, etc, and rarely have bluetooth on (basically only when in the car and I turn it off at destinations). I don't use it very often for workouts, especially not gps ones, and I have seen the sleeping co2 can hurt the battery life, so I changed that a while back. nothing has helped. As far as I am aware it is up to date. Please help.

Hi @knkayak - you battery usage seems normal if you are using hidden features such as Snore detection or SpO2 which can use as much as 4 days alone. See How to resolve the Major issues causing short battery life.

Best Answerthanks. I’ll turn snore detection off, I don’t actually use it anyways. SpO2 is off, that’s what I meant by co2 above and couldn’t remember what it actually was.
