Sense started just charging to 99% and lost 10% in an hour

I am so upset. I literally just went through this issue with the Charge 5 so I got rid of it and bought a Sense during black friday. It's less than 2 months old and the Sense just today started pulling the same crap. My last fitbit model before these two lasted 3 years. Is this the new fitbit standard that they can't even last a year? We confirmed the charge 5 was a battery issue after all the troubleshooting so I'm sure this one is too. I'll give it a few more days and try all the troubleshooting nonsense, but if fitbit's only response again is to keep sending defective devices instead of a full refund so I can buy a competitor's product that works, I will be really upset. I don't want fitbit to keep sending me products that are going to die til my warranty runs out and then I'm SOL. My whole family has been fitbit users for years and I have fitbit plus. I really expect better out of fitbit. If I have to go through this again less than two months after the last with a completely different device, I want a full refund

HI @skatardrummer - 10% battery loss in an hour is indicative of an internal problem such as water having got inside. If it gets hot during charging stop immediately.

But to put it in a fresh state after syncing, go to the watch Settings menu and do a full Shutdown. Wait at least 10 seconds before placing on charge to restart it and charge it.

If it is still problematic there is no harm in changing the clock face for a while.

In case it is purely over use of features have a look here at things that impact battery life. How to resolve the Major issues causing short battery life.
