Sense becoming increasingly unable to sync over last week or so. Refusing to sync at all now. Have followed every piece of advice - resetting, turn on and off (both iPhone and Sense), removing and reconnecting device, forgetting device from phone Bluetooth, deleting and reinstalling app. Nothing working. Also always been inaccurate on floor counting but today has stopped calorie tracking. All very frustrating for a long term Fitbit devotee. Any ideas what else I can do before I demand replacement? Thanks

It seems the only way I can now get my Fitbit to sync is to force quit the Fitbit app, shut down my phone (iPhone 12 pro) and shut down my Sense then turn them all back on. I’ve given up on taking readings for the PAT study since syncing doesn’t ever work. Any clues on if there is an update to fix this? Or if submitting for a replacement is a better option? I’m getting so frustrated I started looking at Apple Watches.

I'm glad someone has had some success. Enjoy it while it lasts. It will end soon. They have not solved anything.
I have the same problems as barberzz but for 2 weeks now with only very limited success. The SpO2 has not made it from the watch to the phone app in 3 days. Always prblems syncing. The info that makes it to the phone app reverts to an early stage with no reasoning or warning which makes it unsuable and worthless.

I got thru to customer services and they advised to delete app and reinstall as they had released a new version since then it’s been good as gold

yes I did exactly that
How many apps do you have on your phone that synch just fine every single time with blue tooth? Many? Me too! No problem. This isn't experimental technology. Until a few weeks ago this technology also worked with this $300 "smart watch" and now it does not. The problem here is not me, nor my phone. It's fitbit. Glad they are doing everything they can to fix it. If you missed the sarcasm it is there.

I"m still good, day 7, i think. No syncing issues. As quickly has the problem appeared, it has disappeared.

After 4 days, and several attempts to simply delete the app and reload, I did the following to get resolution:
1. Turned off Sense
2. On iPhone, Removed the Fitbit App (long press on icon till minus sign appears, click on minus sign, say yes)
3. Shutdown the iPhone entirely (Settings, General, at very bottom press shut down)
4. Turned on the Sense (hold left button 3 seconds or so)
5. Turned on iPhone (hold on button 3 to 5 seconds or so)
6. Went to App store, found Fitbit App, reloaded onto iPhone
7. Opened App, and signed on to my Fitbit Account again
8. Several questions appeared including connect to Sense by Blue Tooth, I answered yes.
9. By the time I finished answering the various questions, I noticed the app syncing. I lost two days of data, but I am now back to seeing proper operation with two straight syncs.
Another note to users. There are other 2nd party Fitbit apps that will transfer your data to Apple Health. I discovered that these do not sync directly to the Sense but use the Fitbit App. I gave up my privacy twice. These apps now have my sign-in info to Fitbit. I deleted the apps from my iPhone. I will change my password shortly after this message.

If there is a new version of the app it’s not been released in AU. I’ve done all the things suggested, with no consistent luck. Now & again it will sync across all data points, but then forgets it managed to update, drops off the last bit of today’s data and refuses to sync again. Rinse & repeat.
I am frustrated as I otherwise like my Sync & have had success with FitBit in general. I’ve resisted switching to another brand but this is getting ridiculous.

The app version I have now is Fitbit 3.41.1 (1050). This app seems different from the previous ones.

I should add that you see this by pressing the lefthand upper circle, select Help & Support midway down, version number appears, Fitbit 3.41.1 (1050)

I’m on that version (3.41.1), have been for a bit and still having issues. Won’t save the last 5kish steps from yesterday despite the fact they were there on the app when I went to bed. Won’t sync my exercise this morning or sleep last night but has most of (but not all) my steps so far today.

Hi everyone.
Thanks for getting back with the requested information, as well for sharing your thoughts about this situation. I'm sorry you've gone through this experience. Because your watches are still not syncing correctly, I've forwarded all your details to our team and it seems they'll release a new Fitbit app version for iOS devices. If by any chance the issue persists after updating the Fitbit app, reply back to this thread so I can keep our team informed of this situation. I truly appreciate your patience and rest assured your feedback won't be taken for granted.
See you around.
