We were forced to switch when they recalled our ionics..mind you best product they ever made..this new sense is inaccurate in most of the functions I have cross referenced miles..heart rate..sleep is a given saying I only slept 2 hours..really fit bit. Sense was the only trackers that came close as far as options to the ionic but for both my fiance and I we agree no tracker is better than the inaccuracies provided.. from a training perspective if your numbers are off in one area your entire day's calculations are inaccurate. Not to mention the other functions that are broken such as voice assist and notifications

@Danni73 Welcome to the Fitbit community.
Sleep tracking is actually probably the one thing the Sense still does very well. I've never been shorted in my hours and the start and end times are usually within 5 minutes of the last time I looked at a clock and the first time on waking. How long have you been using it? Give it a weeks worth and see if the sleeping issues fix itself.
I use my Google Assistant all the time just fine. Are you all set with your Assistant setup and does it say active?
I also get alerted of all the notifications I want. What I did notice is the Sense will follow the phones mute and do not disturb settings. So what I did it turn on "Always vibrate" and I never miss a notification. Only time I don't want notifications is when I'm sleeping so I use the sleep mode on the Sense.

Me too, rarely tracks any sleep, premium only reports steps. Total waste

@Danni73 The sleep function has never worked properly for me. Every morning, I had to change the time that it either said I went to bed or woke up as it was never right. It would also change my wake up time for no reason too. If I worked at my computer for an extended time, it logged it as sleep. The heart rate was sometimes correct; other times not. Several times, the flights of stairs didn't register for days at a time. Other times, during hikes, I registered upwards of 55-60 flights. Not being able to use other functions without excessive battery drain was also not good. So my year old Sense has been relegated to use as a back up for hubby and I've gone with a different company.
