Wow, that's so weird. Mine is gone, and as you can see, I was just talking with Fitbit Support an hour ago and they told me that the feature is removed and will be removed as of April 24th with the new update. Some other people have commented that their Sleeping Heart Rate is missing too. I'm so confused now.

Well this is the icing on the cake. The changes showed up on my app today.

Super unhappy about the new sleep portal but to top it all off - my watch JUST got stuck in the constant reboot loop and I cannot get it out of it no matter what I try.

I'm so upset. I think they're sending me a new one. But what a hassle. And how is this all happening in the same day !??

Did the app update have something to do with my watch malfunctioning ?

TERRIBLE CHANGE. The previous look was so much easier to view and see how often I was in each stage of sleep. Also used to show % of time in each sleep stage. Now I can’t find that. Why do they keep making terrible changes. Do they consult users?

So not happy with the new sleep screen. There isn’t any way of seeing at a glance how long I was awake in the grid  it’s harder to delete a sleep recording, in fact I deleted the wrong one, and if my Fitbit doesn’t record properly, which it had done off & on for awhile now, it puts the sleep in a different area. What used to be easy is now more difficult to read & understand. As the saying goes, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it! Please, change it back.

AGREED!  100%!

May also switch to Apple.. really enjoyed the smaller size of FitBit… BUT… I’m not loyal to any brand …  if FitBit insists on destroying features .. I have NO PROBLEM SWITCHING!

I hate this sleep update! I have resisted an Apple Watch because of the ease, simplicity and depth of information I get on sleep from Fitbit. The new update is SO VERY DIFFICULT TO READ AND UNDERSTAND. I don’t get the depth and breadth of info I had before (why did I lose the baseline number percentages? I don’t want just a dotted grid..seriously) and it is SO BUSY AND LACKS CLEAR VISUALS IT IS NOW JUST CONFUSING. I’m serious about tracking this information for my health and you’ve made it so difficult. Please fix it, or you are likely to lose this customer. Thank you

The amusing part is the functionality returned and I did edit my sleep report and - extra bonus points - my spouse got to be right! "See, I told you it still works." It was a great day for her.

What have you guys done t it?! It's awful! Hard to use. Why would you all think this is an update.  Please, bring back the prior version.

Hate it.

How is this supposed to be simpler? It’s clearly more complicated and now effectively useless at a glance.

Stop messing around with things that don’t need fixing.
If the idea is to nudge people towards upgrading to Premium it’s not going to work. If anything it’ll nudge me to Garmin.

Change the feature back to previous.

Thanks !

Yeah… not a fan. I find the sleep chart much harder to read, it was so clear before it’s really not that accessible now? Also, my Fitbit is sometimes patchy with recording my sleep and records two sections but misses a chunk of time in the middle. It was really easy before to delete the second recording and just edit the first to go until the time I woke up, but I couldn’t easily find how to delete the second recording today and instead just had to edit the first one up to the start of the second one. I don’t understand why a brand has made edits to make something harder to use and be less easy and accessible to read?

The new update is horrible! I am looking at other options. So sad because I have been a Fitbit user for years!

Thank you JBD, I had exactly that same experience.

This is awful! The sleep data I want has gone and I’m not happy! I want the old one back! Can I get it ?

🤢I won't be buying Fitbit as my next tracker. The sleep update is useless. Graphically it has the appeal of an Insurance brochure. And the graphs are useless. Still trying to find way to track naps and add it to my total daily hrs slept. Whole design just blows. Edit feature? What's dat?

The new sleep interface feels like a slap in the face: it is objectively worse at conveying sleep data, and subjectively even worse (somehow) at supporting its users.

As an insomniac, I got a Fitbit purely for sleep data. I loved everything about the old version, from the intuitive way the data was formatted to the type of information I received (sleeping heart rate and oxygen variation included). This even extends to the star and ridiculous little congratulatory face I received on days when I managed to reach my sleep goal, which was already really rare, so I felt even more satisfied whenever I got one with the silly fanfare that came with the previous design.

In contrast, the new version is dull, lifeless, and objectively less effective. I was so disgusted with this change that I engaged with Fitbit Community for the first time to actively voice my grievances on my first community post. Like I said in that post, the old version was basically perfect, and improved my motivation to sleep. I'm not exaggerating when I say taht the old sleep UI actively improved my health and quality of life... in comparison, this new version makes me want to never open the Fitbit app ever again, even to track my sleep.

I absolutely cannot comprehend what went on behind the scenes at Fitbit to facilitate this change, but even though I am mostly certain this will fall on deaf ears, I am desperately begging for the old sleep interface to return.

Thank you for your articulate posting. Ditto!

As with other recent updates the app is becoming very wishy washy and extremely difficult to read. This is yet another step backwards. I certainly won’t be buying another Fitbit when this one expires!

I'm sure there were some at Fitbit when they saw what was going in the update just rolled their eyes. I really can't believe nobody could not see this.

You should see the latest reviews in the Android store on Fitbit....B R U T A L. No mercy.
